I will discuss what Rodan and Fields is all about and how you can make money with this company.

I’ll briefly cover information about the company and the products that they have for you to market if or when you decide to join.

It my goal to breakdown and explain what the Rodan and Fields company has to offer as far as the commission structure is concerned because in my experience I understand how important it is to educate yourself about an opportunity before you jump into it.

Plus, you don’t want to invest your hard earned money on just anything that jumps in front of you that looks like it will work.

So the breakdown of my review is to cover mainly the compensation plan because I fell if it wasn’t for the fact that you can make some money with this company, I don’t think you would help make this company money for free.

Before we dive down into my thorough Rodan and Fields compensation plan review, I would like to take a quick second of your time to let you know who I am so that you can get to know who I am before we jump in.

My Quick Story

Before I start, let me introduce myself to those that don’t know who I am as of yet.

I’m not going to go into a full blown life story about myself and how I got started, you can actually read my full getting started bio found on my Digital Cash Kings website, but would like to give to you an understanding of my experience level, if you will.

I just wanted to cover this so basically you can know I’m not someone just starting out in the industry.

My name is Wallace, I ended my full time job path or career as a truck driver.

Working too many hours, and not having enough time to spend with my family.

Made decent money, but the wages weighed heavily on my shoulders not being there more in my families life.

I discovered Internet Marketing, and struggled at first, but after a while some of the pieces started coming together.

Fast Forward…

I have been making money online for over twelve years now successfully and full-time, and have been in the marketing space of Network Marketing for almost twenty.

I have built very large teams, I’ve created programs, created various trainings, and also created many successful marketing systems.

Personally, I’m responsible for guiding many people that want to learn what I know, to earn an impressive amount of money online, and many of them took my guidance to develop massive success on the internet as well.

I am explaining this not to toot my own horn but to basically let you know that if a truck driver with zero marketing skills whatsoever can do it, then I know that it is possible for you to do it too, and eventually quit your full time job and  work from home full time.

My main inspirations are my 4 kids and my wife and best friend of over 11 years.

What Is Rodan and Fields

Rodan and Fields is a Network Marketing company that is in the beauty niche.

They  have skin care products that they claim to be high in quality with some extra enhancements that I will get into in the next couple sections below under products..

The company commission plan is structured in the unilevel format which I will explain in the next few sections.

But mainly, R+F is a MLM company that you can join and receive commissions through the sales of their products, and also by referring new sales members to the company with the referral link that the company gives you.

Rodan & Fields, LLC, known as Rodan + Fields or R+F, is an American manufacturer and Network marketing company specializing in skin care products.

The company was founded in 2007 by Katie Rodan and Kathy Fields, creators of Proactiv, and has its headquarters in San Francisco, California.

A Quick Look Into The Rodan and Fields Products

Rodan and Fields products treat common skincare concerns.

Products and tools are categorized into regimens, each dedicated to a different skin concern.

Regimens include cleansers, toners, moisturizers, creams, exfoliators and sunscreens

There are multiple ways to earn.

Within the Rodan and Fields Compensation plan there are actually 5 ways to earn which are:

  1. Retail Profit – This is the old fashioned way of selling the companies products and you making a commission for it.
  2. Consultant Commissions – These are commissions earned from the sales “to” your direct enrollees and their downline make. (consultants)
  3. Personal Team Commissions – These are commissions earned from the sales that are made “from” your direct enrollees and their downline make. (consultants)
  4. Generation Commissions – These are commissions made that your entire team make. From your personals, to all your generations, personal team.
  5. Performance Bonuses – These are bonus commissions made when you hit certain criteria that the company has structured within their pay plan.

When I mention personal direct enrollees and their team, the company has them labeled as “consultants” and Personal Customers.

Every MLM company has these labels different for the name, but its all the same, personal consultant, or directs, or distributors.

Customers, and PC’s are labeled the same as well.

So excuse me if I randomly throughout a term used not by this company, I simply review so many companies that it kinda gets all jumbled up sometimes.

Here is a breakdown of how to reach each rank of the compensation plan:

RETAIL CUSTOMER (RC): This is a customer that simply purchases a product one time.

PREFERRED CUSTOMER (PC): This would be a customer that agrees to pay a subscription for product and also receives a discount, with some extra perks.

CONSULTANT (C): This is someone that wants to make money with Rodan Fields and agrees to pay the monthly subscription fee, PLUS sign an agreement to become a “consultant” or a commissionable member of the company.

EXECUTIVE CONSULTANT (EC): This would be the first rank advancement position. It requires a monthly minimum of 100 in Sales Volume (SV) and a minimum of 600 in Personally Sponsored Qualifying Volume (PSQV).

LEVEL I EC (LI EC) – RFX EC: Leadership Titles within the Compensation Plan.

EXECUTIVE CONSULTANT GROUP: Personal Team of an Executive Consultant.

Executive Consultant Groups make up the generational volume. A Personal Team

is an Executive Consultant Group that is Generation 0.

So the Rodan and Fields Commission Plan is structured in a Unilevel pay plan.

This means that all your personal members will be placed on your first level.

All of your personal referrals will be place on your 2nd level, and your direct referrals 1st level and so on…

I hope you get the picture, if not i included some more in-depth explanation on the ranks, and the percentages you earn when you reach certain ranks in the pay plan.

Each level is broken down and has a percentage of the sales made that you earn from that level.

The wider your team grows the more commissions are generated.

Retail Profit Commissions

As a Rodan and Fields Consultant, which is the very first level that you would start in, you can earn commissions from any purchases made by any of your retail customers. on purchases The commissions will differ from the regular 1 off purchases from customers and the preferred auto filled discounted monthly purchases.

Active Consultant

To become an “active” consultant and start earning off of your downline you will need to have 100 in sales volume each commission period to qualify.

When you qualify for an active consultant you will now have two ways to earn which are:

  • 10% on all of your level 1 commissionable volume (CV) which includes volume

from Customers and Consultants on your level one.

  • And from any retail sales.

Executive Consultant

To become a Executive Consultant you will need 600 personally sponsored qualifying volume in a commission period. The qualifying volume includes any personally sponsored consultant and also from any preferred or retail customers.

As an Executive Consultant, there are now 3 ways that you can earn which include:

  • Personal Team Commissions: 5% Commission on the CV generated by all the Consultants and Customers in your Personal Team.
  • Consultant Commissions: 10% Commission of all Level 1 Commissionable Volume (CV).
  • Retail Profit: From Retail Customers and your Preferred Customers.

Level One Executive Consultant

To reach Executive consultant with will need to have one of your personal consultant reach the status of Executive consultant on your team through product sales. When that happens that persons team volume moves out of your personal team to your generation 1. This process will promote you to a Level one Executive Consultant.

As a Level one executive consultant you will now have four ways that you can earn through Rodan and Fields compensation plan which include:

  • Generation Commissions: 5% Commissions on your Generation one Volume.
  • Personal Team Commissions: 5% Commission on the customer volume generated by all the Consultants and Customers in your Personal Team.
  • Consultant Commissions: 10% Commission on all Level 1 Volume.
  • Retail Profit: From your Retail Customers and Preferred Customers.

Level Two Executive Consultant

To reach a level two consultant you need to maintain your Executive Consultant status and a second Consultant in your Personal Team needs to hit status of elite consultant the requirements listed above, when this happens you will promote yourself to a Level two Executive Consultant.

As a Level Two Executive Consultant you will have 4 ways that you can earn in the commission plan which are:

  • Generation Commissions: 5% Commissions on Generation one through Generation II Volume.
  • Personal Team Commissions: 5% Commission on the customer volume generated by all the Consultants and Customers in your Personal Team.
  • Consultant Commissions: 10% Commission on all Level one Volume.
  • Retail Profit: From your Retail Customers and Preferred Customers.

Rodan and Fields labels this achievement as a milestone. At this point in your path to increasing your commissions and pay out, you will need to get more consultants to the status of executive consultant.

The more consultants that achieve executive consultant means that you will move up in rank.

Executive consultant has 5 level of rank, so to reach level 5 executive consultant, you will need 8 personal executive consultant on your level 1.

Again, so you will need 8 personal referrals that achieve the rank of executive consultant, once this happens you will be promoted to a Level five Executive Consultant.

As a level 5 executive consultant you will have 4 ways to earn in the compensation plan which are:

  • Generation Commissions: 5% Commissions on Generation one through Generation five Volume.
  • Personal Team Commissions: 5% Commission on the Customer volume generated by all the Consultants and Customers in your Personal Team.
  • Consultant Commissions: 10% Commission on all Level one Volume.
  • Retail Profit: From your Retail Customers and Preferred Customers.

Premiere Executive Consultant

You will increase your earnings in the Compensation Plan when you qualify for the level of Premier Executive Consultant. This is done when you have 11 consultant on your personal team that reach the rank of executive consultant AND 1 of them reach any of the level executive consultants.

When you reach these requirements you will earn 0.5% commission on your Generation six Volume now.

So when this happens you have the potential to increase your earning significantly.

Elite Executive Consultant

To reach the rank of Elite Executive Consultant you will need to have 13 members of your personal team to reach executive consultant.

You will need 3 of them qualified at the rank of executive consultant or above in your personal team.

Another level of earnings means more money that can be earned.

RFX Executive Consultant

To max-out the commissions that you can earn with Rodan and Fields you need to reach the rank of RFX Executive Consultant within the compensation plan.

You will need 15 of your personals to reach Executive Consultants in your Personal Team, PLUS five of whom are at the any of the level ranks of Executive Consultant.

When you reach this level of the commission plan you will earn 2.5% Commission on your generation six volume.

This is the rank that you will want to be at and strive for in this compensation plan to maximize the commissions that you can make.

Performance Bonuses

In addition to the commissions that you will earn as you qualify for higher and higher ranks whithin the compensation plan, R+F will also reward you with performance bonuses which they call lifestyle bonuses that consists of the fast start bonuses and a car bonus.

These performance bonuses are announced by the company and may change from time to time.

In this chart you can see the different percentages of income you can make for the rank that you achieve.

As you can tell in the chart, increasing your rank in this company is not as hard as other companies requirements like the Beachbody compensation plan, for rank advancements in my opinion.

As you can also see in the chart an my explanation on how to move up in rank in the commission plan, you will want to focus your efforts on helping your personal team to reach the executive levels.

The more that increase in rank, the more money you will make.

Cost To Join Rodan and Fields

It costs a minimum of $45 to buy the DVD and instructions to start distributing Rodan and Fields, but most new recruits, according to some of the reps opt for the $695 Big Business Launch Kit, which includes samples and worksheets.

This is the package that their team or the company is probably pushing the reps to concentrate on, I am guessing.

You can get started for $45 but coming in at the bigger packages usually has some perks associated with it that I am not seeing on there website.

You will want to check on this if you decide to join.

Network Marketing through any MLM Company is the art of making commissions through referral marketing.

Here is a quick analogy.

What if you can get paid by simply recommending a great movie to a friend, and then they go see it because of your recommendation?

Would that be something that could do and get paid for it?

That is exactly how the majority of Network Marketing companies put how easy Network Marketing is in there sales pitch to people.

But it’s a little bit more involved than that.

As you can see in the section above about the compensation plan, there are steps that you must complete to get to the higher commissions with how they structured their pay plan.

But the basic principle to earning more money in any MLM company is through recruiting more and more distributors to the company and hopefully they can recruit also to where they build a team too.

By the action of recruiting taking place from the efforts of your team any spillover and yourself, the more money you will make through the higher rankings and more levels of commissions you will make team wide on how this MLM pay plan is structured.

Conclusion on the Rodan and Fields Pay Structure

This comes to the end of my Rodan and Fields Commission Plan review.

Rodan and Fields is just one way to make money from home, there are so many other ways to earn commissions that you probably haven’t heard of that might work out much better for you and I know for a fact are much easier to earn compensation from.

But hey, if Rodan and Fields is the right opportunity for you then perfect, and I wish you massive success.

This company is just one of many Network Marketing compensation plans that I have reviewed, and it a decent commission plan.

But like most MLM Companies, they will want you to market the old-school way of marketing to friends and family first.

Most of the MLM Companies have it in there head that building their company through internet marketing will not work.

In many cases it’s the company themselves that hinders these outcomes becomes the majority of the time the company themselves forbid it, and if you do try to market their opportunity with Internet Marketing and they find out about it, they will terminate you even if you are earning commissions!

So here’s a Piece of Advice

If you do decide to join Rodan and Fields, or if you just want to make money but want the easiest way to do it.

Start with a low cost up-front offer.

When you start with a low cost and achievable offer where people can earn smaller commissions, then you can start building a list of people that are also interested in making money too!

See you can find people already interested in making money, not just your Uncle Harry, and Aunt Susie that have no interest in anything your trying to sell to them.

There are some steps that you will have to do in order to get the people to your offer, but that is easy when you know how.

And even more easy when the lower cost program has a step by step training on where and how to do this.
