Opinion Outpost Review – Scam or Legit? How Much Does It Pay

Welcome to my Opinion Outpost review.

Is the program legit that you can really earn money online with or a scam?

We wouldn’t want to join a program that turns out to be a scam and doesn’t pay out, we would end up losing all the time and money we invested in it.

Opinion Outpost Reviews

We are going to take a look at how the Opinion Outpost opportunity works, how much it pays, what it is, and if it is a scam or a real and legitimate program that you can earn money with.

If you want to quickly learn what my thoughts about Opinion Outposts legitimacy are right now, simply click on the link that says, “is Opinion Outpost a scam” in my table of contents to get your answer.

However, there are many aspects to this program in my review that led me to my conclusion that you will want to know about.

With that said, let’s dive down into this review and get started.

Opinion Outpost Review – How Does It Work?

In this section of the review, we are going to take a look at how Opinion Outpost works.

Opinion Outpost Review How It Works

To begin, Opinion Outpost is a paid survey site that you can earn money by filling out surveys.

The way that it works is by first registering your account with the program.

Then, once you complete the initial survey that is about you inside the program you will start to see some surveys that you can do.

But first, the companies that pay Opinion Outpost to share their surveys with you want to know that you completely qualify for that particular survey so they will ask a series of qualifying questions before each survey.

The companies just want to get some honest data which is understandable.

So, once you find a survey…

The surveys will vary in time of completion from about 10 – 20 minutes per survey depending on the length.

Once you see those surveys you simply select one and start to answer the survey to the best of your ability.

When you complete the surveys the program will pay you in either cash or reward points.

These programs are what I call one-time income earners which means that the effort that you put toward completing a certain task will result in a one-time payment.

Although it may seem really simple to complete surveys and get paid in cash or reward points, there are some caveats to consider.

  1. You won’t get paid very much per survey.
  2. You are not going to qualify for every survey offered.

But hey, if you are ok with that, then this might be the perfect program to get earn extra money from home.

There are a few things that you need to keep in mind when dealing with paid survey companies that you need to consider that I briefly touched on before diving in full force.

Depending on which paid survey company you eventually decide to go with, and if a paid survey program does finally become your “go-to” way to earn additional money, you will need to understand a few things like:

  • Every one of them works a little bit different
  • Every one of them pays more or less.
  • Every one of them has their own unique complaints.
  • And every one of them pays out differently.

These are the topics that we are going to cover in this review, so you can have a full understanding of what you will want to do after reading about how the Opinion Outpost opportunity works.

How Much Does Opinion Outpost Pay?

How Much Does Opinion Outpost Pay

Well, this really depends on what survey that you would qualify for and the demographic you fall in..

Depending on the survey that is offered to you, you can earn anywhere from just under $1 to $3 per survey on average.

One user stated that right after they got registered and completed their personal “habits” survey they completed 9 surveys in about 5 hours and earned 80 points.

For every 100 points, you can grab a $10 Paypal gift card.

That works out to be about $1.50 an hour if you think about it.

The minimum amount of points that you can earn before you qualify for a payout would be 50 points.

Opinion Outpost also offers an Amazon gift card that equals out to 10 points per $1, but before you can cash out your points you will need to earn 50 points to get at least a $10 gift card.

But here is the thing, I know there are people willing to sit through hours of surveys to earn some money but realistically, who do have that time.

So in reality, the earnings per hour would be much less than $1.50 per hour.

Your Demographic Plays A Part In How Much You Can Earn

Some of the users have reported that depending on your demographic will qualify you or disqualify you for surveys.

Basically, you will know if you qualify or not qualified by starting the survey and then answering a series of questions before you simply continue or the survey will notify you that you don’t qualify.

It is time-consuming and can be frustrating but this is how all of the paid survey sites work.

Many of the reports that I’ve found on the success rate is around 25%.

This percentage can be more or less depending on your demographic and habits.

Another factor on how much Opinion Outpost pays will be on the company that is hosting the survey as well.

With that said…

There are 2 main issues that many people face when dealing with these paid survey sites that I wanted to cover which are…

1. Qualifying For The Surveys Is Hit & Miss

One of the issues that people seem to run into a ton of the time is actually being able to find surveys that you qualify for.

Even though a survey is available doesn’t mean that you are going to be able to finish it.

You have to answer a series of initial questions first and then when you pass the actual survey begins.

The “fail-rate” is somewhere around 85%!

Some have said that they were 15 minutes into a survey when the system let them know that they did not qualify for that survey.

So, what exactly does this mean?

This means that the majority of the time you are going to be looking and trying to qualify for surveys that you are qualified for.

This is not an isolated issue, it seems that everyone experiences this issue, and depending on your habits or demographics will depend on whether or not you will qualify.

The companies that pay Opinion Outpost want to know that the people filling out the survey is completely qualified, so I totally understand in that aspect, but from the aspect of the person filling out the survey, it can be really frustrating which is also understandable.

2. The Frustration Of Waiting For Qualified Surveys

The second issue is actually finding enough surveys to complete.

So, the first issue was actually qualifying for a survey, and now we have the issue of not having enough surveys offered at any particular time, so we essentially have to wait for the next available survey to appear.

Just to be clear that this is not an issue that comes from the actual Opinion Outpost program itself, this issue comes from the companies that supply these surveys.

Either way, the frustration, and issue are still a problem that many people experience in all of the “paid survey” programs including Opinions Outpost.

Does Opinion Outpost Work?

Yes, Opinion Outpost does work.

Does Opinion Outpost Work

You are going to have to put in the time and effort that it takes to find the surveys, qualify for the surveys, and then complete the surveys.

Additionally, you will have to be willing to put up with all of the frustrations that are associated with the program as well, which was discussed earlier.

Joining the Opinion Outpost opportunity is simply not a simple way to earn extra money by completing surveys, there is a lot that you have to deal with.

But here is the facts…

There is no question that Opinion Outpost pays out because it does.

The question that you have to ask yourself is if the time, the frustration, and the energy it takes for you to earn the little amount that the program will pay you are worth it?

Just to recap, yes, Opinion Outpost does work, but the questions you have to ask yourself is the reward worth it?

Opinion Outpost Frozen Accounts Issues

There have been some account members claiming that they have experienced an Opinion Outpost frozen account.

Some of the members claim for no apparent reason they try to login in and the account has been frozen.

Now, I cannot say that they have not done anything to violate the terms and agreement that would get their accounts frozen, I still see a few people report this issue.

Here is a post that was made in a popular forum that I want to share with you on this “frozen” account issue that I’ve found:

“It’s happening to a ton of people, a friend and I included. This is affecting all the SSI surveys sites/apps (OO, Quickthoughts, mThoughts, iPoll). Customer service is so far totally unhelpful, so we’re just trying to wait it out. It seems those who do receive a reply are being told they have multiple accounts under different emails even though they don’t. Data breach maybe? They’re punishing legitimate users left and right.”

So, it might seem that the program is trying to protect itself from hackers, but by doing so, it could be affecting legitimate users, I will have more on this issue as more details are found out.

Opinion Outpost FAQ

In this section of the review, we are going to answer some questions that people may have when thinking about joining Opinion Outpost.

Is Opinion Outpost BBB Accredited?

No, Opinion Outpost is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau.

However, this is not an indication of the program being a scam or even legitimate for me personally.

The reason why is that I’ve found information that the rating system that the BBB has can be manipulated by outside service companies in either a negative or positive way.

I usually only refer to the BBB for additional information on the company and to see what reviews and testimonials they have, just for a reference.

Is Opinion Outpost A Scam Or Legit Program?

Is Opinion Outpost A Scam

In my opinion, no, Opinion Outpost is not a scam.

It is a legitimate paid survey site program that is similar to all the rest of paid survey programs that are online that you can earn money by filling out surveys.

Yes, qualifying for many of the surveys they offer can be frustrating because the rate that you can qualify is low.

For every 10 surveys offered, you will be lucky if you get 3 that you qualify for.

There are some complaints about low payout rates, which is totally normal as well.

Many of the surveys don’t offer much in the amount that you can earn.

This is not specific to Opinion Outpost, this is with all similar programs.

With that said, Opinion Outpost is a legitimate program that is not a scam.

How Old Do You Have To Be To Join Opinion Outpost?

In order to join Opinion Outpost, you will need to be at least 18 years of age.

This is normal for all similar programs that require you to fill out surveys to earn money.

This is usually because all the surveys offered are for 18-year-olds and higher.

How Long Does It Take To Earn With Opinion Outpost?

When doing some research, one of the questions that keep coming up is how long does it take to start earning with Opinion Outpost.

The time it takes from starting to finishing a survey usually takes anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes.

This depends on how many questions the survey has and also what the survey entails.

With that said, the overall time is going to be longer simply because when you take the time that it takes to find a survey that you qualify for.

Opinion Outpost is a good way to make extra money online, but you will have to know and understand that it is not as simple as choosing a survey, completing the survey, then earning your rewards for completing the survey.

Just know that it will take some time overall to complete a few surveys per day that you can earn reward points that you can profit from.

What Countries Are Available To Join Opinion Outpost?

This question pops up from time to time so I decided to add it here.

The only country that Opinion Outpost accepts is the United States.

I have seen many people from various countries try to join like:

  • India
  • Brazil
  • Bulgaria
  • Kenya
  • Philippines
  • Jamaica
  • Kuwait
  • Kokemuksia

All the countries outside the US seem to not be able to join due to country restrictions.

This is due to the companies that supply the surveys only want the survey results from people living in the United States.

This might change in the future, but for now, only US residents are able to join.

My Final Opinion Outpost Review and THoughts

In this section of the review, I am going to share my final thoughts about the Opinion Outpost opportunity.

Overall, Opinion Outpost is one of the better programs that you can get paid for doing surveys that I’ve found online.

One of the concerns that many people have is the program has gone down in quality since it was bought out by Survey Spot which is another survey website.

Now, I am not sure if this was a merging problem that will get worked out or if it will be the norm going forward.

All I can say is this…

Just Try It Out

There are a few good reasons to try Opinion Outpost out which are:

  • What I found, it is one of the best survey sites that you can get paid the fastest. When you complete “on average” 2 surveys which equal out to 50 points, you will be able to cash out your points which is really good in comparison to the majority of all other survey sites.
  • The program is free to join. This is what is called a “no-brainer” just to try it.
  • Opinion Outpost has some of the best user ratings among all of the other survey sites that you can get paid from.

With that said…

Is Opinion Survey Recommended?

Yes, I would totally recommend it to try it out.

However, do I feel there are better alternatives out there?

As far as survey sites that you can earn money from, not really, but to earn a better income online, yes.

If you are looking to earn more money online, just check out my section above where I talk about a better alternative.

I hope you enjoyed my Opinion Outpost review.
