We decided to take a closer look at the MCA opportunity due to the growing interest that we noticed on the social media platforms that we are part of.

The Motor Club of America (MCA) Review – What Is It?
The Motor Club of America opportunity or MCA for short and what many people that are familiar with it refer to it as is an MLM structured business model that you can earn commissions with by selling the services that they offer and by building a team of other affiliate members.
The services that they offer are road-side assistance and owning a membership can reduce your cost for services like towing, battery recharge, and pick-ups.
The Motor Club of America (MCA) Company
One of the things that we like to see in all MLM companies is who owns or runs it.
This gives us the opportunity to look at the background and experience that the owner has and can take that knowledge with us to make a decision on whether or not it would be wise to join or not.
With that said, this is what we found…
Motor Club of America (MCA) was launched way back in the year 1926 by William W. Green, who was the CEO of the company up until 1986.
The guy sold a few times more before TVC Marketing took control of it.
Virgil Coffee eventually became the owner and the founder in 1987.
The acronym TVC stands for Truckers Voice in Court.
TVC has been helping truck drivers in court by representing them on traffic-related charges.
The services that they provide for the truck drivers are still being offered along with the MCA packages to this day.
Virgil actually started up the MCA services when he was an employee at a Pre-Paid Legal Services company where he introduced the Network Marketing model that increased the profits made by the company and also helped multiply sales of the services offered there also at the time.
With Motor Club of America (MCA) he applies many of the same marketing concepts and policies that he used when he was with that company.
Is Motor Club of America (MCA) Legit or a Scam?
This is definitely a great question!
So I did some digging and found that the Better Business Bureau has information listed that Motor Club of America (MCA) has met all of the BBB accreditation standards.
This includes a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any customer complaints.
The rating that BBB has, as far as customer reviews go is at 76% positive.
The rating, of course, is of the customer’s opinions of the business.
But as a total, the BBB has a 4.7 out of 5-star rating based on customer reviews and so the BBB has scored Motor Club of America (MCA) an A+ rating as of writing this article.
Not too bad of a rating.
So, no, we do not feel that MCA is a scam.

The most popular product package that Motor Club of America (MCA) has in place is called the Total Security Package that includes over $150,000 worth of various coverages like credit card protection, attorney fee assistance, roadside assistance among others listed below for only $19.95 per month.
Whether you are a customer or an affiliate member you will receive the same coverage benefits, so it makes sense to come in as a rep, in my opinion of course so that you can earn commissions for simply referring others.

Motor Club of America (MCA) Compensation Plan Breakdown
Motor Club of America (MCA) is designed very differently than most other companies.
Legal Shield company was very similar in the design of the compensation plan but that is probably because of the owner’s past experience.
So basically Motor Club of America (MCA) pays you $80 – $90 per referral that you bring into the business.
Depending on how many memberships you sell in one week will determine the $80 – $90 per referral with the commissions that you can earn.
Over 5 memberships that you sell in 1 week is when the commissions per sale start to increase as you can see in the description I’ve included below.
If you sell X amount of Memberships in one week this is what you will earn as far as upfront commissions that are paid out weekly:
- 1 MCA Membership = $80
- 2 MCA Memberships = $160
- 3 MCA Memberships = $240
- 4 MCA Memberships = $320
- 5 MCA Memberships = $410 ($82 per referral)
- 10 MCA Memberships = $840 ($84 per referral)
- 15 MCA Memberships = $1290 ($86 per referral)
- 20 MCA Memberships = $1760 ($88 per referral)
- 30 MCA Memberships = $2700 ($90 per referral, max payout amount)
So as you can see in the description above, after just 5 MCA memberships sold in 1 week, your commissions per sales start to increase from $80 to $90 for the maximum compensation you can earn per referral.
So, if you are able to sell 30 memberships in one week, $90 per referral is what you will earn.
And yes, all 30 referrals will be calculated at the $90 level, so if you have 30 referrals for one week you will earn $2,700 in commissions for your new personal referrals paid out the following week.
Motor Club of America Commission Overrides
Now let’s move on to other ways to earn compensation with MCA.
The next way to earn commissions in the Motor Club of America compensation plan is through the Commission Overrides the company offers.
Now that you are building a team, you can now earn from their efforts as well.
When your personal referrals sponsor or refer a new member to MCA, you will earn a $6 commission override bonus paid to you one time.
These overrides span 3 levels down.
On your 3rd generation, or your personal members frontline or direct members, you will earn $1.32 per sale upfront and $0.66 per month and then for the life of the member in the commission override bonus program.
Your 4th and last generational override commission bonus will be another $1.32 upfront and $0.66 per month and for the life of those members in the commission override bonus program.
Here is a simple description of how the MCA commission overrides bonus works:
- Personal Sales (Generation 1) = $80 -$90
- Generation 2 = $6
- Generation 3 = $1.32 & $0.66/month
- Generation 4 = $1.32 & $0.66/month

Motor Club of America (MCA) runs off of membership and you can only have 1 membership per person.

Here is a breakdown of what the difference in cost would be for multiples of members cost to join in monthly dues:
- 1 MCA membership would be $39.90 startup and $19.95 per month.
- 2 MCA memberships would be $79.80 startup and $39.90 per month.
- 3 MCA memberships would be $119.70 startup and $59.85 per month.
- 4 MCA memberships would be $159.60 startup and $79.80 per month.

Network Marketing or MLM is a form of a business opportunity that anyone can join that gives a vision of starting your own business without any overhead and with residual or recurring income from the power of duplication.
Some of the biggest Network Marketing companies in the world you have probably heard of but I’m guessing you never knew were an MLM company.
Some of these companies include:
MLM, like mentioned, before has little to no overhead like products to store and ship, or employees to pay and insure, to get started with a Network Marketing company you will usually only need around $100 to $600 to get started.
Looking in from the outside, many think that you earn commissions through selling products which is true, but most people don’t get involved with a Network Marketing company just to sell the product, they join to make a residual income that can be substantial.
So the optimal way to grow into an income with Network Marketing, you will want to look for people that want to make money from home as well.
By finding those people, you will start to build what is called a downline.
Your downline will hopefully duplicate what you are doing and finding other people that want to make additional income from home and when they join, then your downline starts growing down multiple levels.
When this happens you are building a team that usually helps with leveling up or getting into the higher ranks of what these companies offer which will award you with higher payout percentages.
When your team grows, you start earning a percentage of everyone’s personal sales, and from customer and recruiting sales.
As long as those sales stay active each month, you will earn what is called a recurring, or residual income from everyone on the team.
In a nutshell, this is what Network Marketing is all about.

Usually, when a company changes there compensation plan after years in business, it is because either the company wants more profit, the company is just trying to survive because it is failing, or there is a competing company that is taking business away and they want to be more competitive with pricing and payout.
