One of the questions that we need to know before getting started with an opportunity that we can make money online is to learn if it is a scam or not.
We wouldn’t want to join an opportunity to find out later it is not a legitimate company that can get shut down at any time and ends up losing all the time and money we invested into it.
We are going to take a close look at the information on the company, the products, and the compensation plan to see if the company in compliance with what the FTC requires.
We are also going to cover what the Modere M3 body system is all about that will include information on what’s included, price, and if we feel if it is worth it.
And in our final section, we are going to share our final thoughts on the Modere M3 opportunity as a whole and give our opinions on this opportunity as a whole.

Modere M3 Company Overview
In this section of the review, we are going to take a look at the Modere company information.
When we take a look at any company that offers the ability to make money, we like to see transparency with the owner.
This tells us that the owner is proud of their company and gives us the ability to look at their background to see what kind of experience they have in business.
Let’s start with the history of the company…
The History
Modere was originally called Neways back in the day but then was rebranded into what it is now, Modere.
Apparently, Neways was sold back in 2013.
The company states that Modere is the transformation from a 26-year-old, $300 million a year grossing MLM company called Neways.
The acquisition was purchased by Z Capital which included new ownership, branding, pricing, management, compensation plan, and business model.
The total transformation was completed in February 2014, when Modere was officially launched.
By 2015, all 28 international markets were completely transformed into the company we know now as Modere.
The Owner
Robert Conlee stayed on as the owner of Modere and CEO.
Funny enough he was also the CEO of Neways since 2012, so the “complete” change was not as complete as was stated by what the company originally stated.
Some of Robert’s past experience included CEO of Xango and President of an MLM company called Nu Skin, so we know he has a lot of experience in the MLM industry.
Overall, we know that leadership is solid just because of the continued growth and solid overall sales and profit that the Modere company has had throughout the last few years.
Owner UPDATE:
As of January 12, 2018, Asma Ishaq as of the CEO of the Modere company.
She was previously the President of the company’s Collagen Sciences division and the Chief Industry Relations Officer.
She is succeeding Robert Conlee as the CEO of the company.
She has a ton of experience in skincare and nutritional supplement development, product development, and formulation.
She was on the DSA Board of Directors, a committee member of the Council of Responsible Nutrition, and an advisory member of the International Fragrance Association of North America.
She was also the co-founder of Jusuru back in 2009.
She seems to have a great deal of knowledge of the industry that Modere is in and offers great experience and top management skills.
I feel that Ishaq is a great fit for the Modere CEO.
What Is Modere?
Modere is an MLM company that is in the health, wellness, and beauty niche.
The MLM side of the business model gives someone the ability to make money from home by building a sales team that sells the products and opportunities to others.

Modere Products Review
In this section of the review, we are going to take a look at the products that Modere offers as well as the M3 line of products they offer.
Modere has many of the same products that Neways had but rebranded into the Modere packaging of course.
Here is a basic category list of what Modere offers as far as products:
- Personal Care – Products for the hair, mouth, and body.
- Health and Wellness – Products for general nutrition, active lifestyle and health, weight management, general nutrition, and targeted health.
- Household Care – Products for the laundry, kitchen, and cleaning supplies.

One of the newer lines of product that Modere came out with is their M3 line.
I have included some details about the M3 Body System line due to its popularity.
What is the Modere M3 Body System?
Modere M3 is a product line for the Mediterranean lifestyle that Modere launched which is a complete weight loss system.
It is also known as the M3 Body System.
Each of the products that are included in this selection has a specific ingredient blend that is designed to help you lose weight.
These ingredients include:
- Protein
- Olive juice extract
- Coffee bean extract
- Chromium picolinate
- Cocoa bean powder
- Guarana seed extract
One of the statements that the company website claims is when you take the M3 challenge and follow the diet plan to the tee, including taking the right supplements, you will be able to lose 52% more weight loss compared to using any other programs.
In my opinion, that can get you in a bit of trouble.
Modere M3 Weight-Loss Mediterranean Diet
The M3 Weight-Loss Mediterranean lifestyle diet is basically following a healthy diet in combination with the M3 Body System.
When you follow a healthy diet and a healthy lifestyle in combination with the M3 product program you will lose the maximum amount of weight-loss.
Wait…
Wouldn’t you automatically lose weight when you follow a healthy diet and lifestyle?
I would think so, so there is kind of a hypocritical situation going on there in my opinion.
Either way, let’s move on.
Modere M3 Science VS Claims
One of the things that Modere does have is scientific research to back up the claims for good heart health, but nothing that has to do with weight loss.
According to its company website, the Mediterranean diet does have research:
“The evidence does suggest that the Mediterranean dietary pattern is an efficient and feasible tool for the prevention of cardiovascular disease”
This is according to one of the studies performed.
There are no clinical studies at this time due to these products being so new to the market at the time of publishing this review.
Does the Modere M3 Body System Work?
The way that the Modere M3 system is laid out is that when following the M3 Body system diet combined with a healthy diet and lifestyle I personally feel that it would work really great.
You have to know there is no actual research on the Modere M3 Body System that I mentioned in the last section so there is no real proof out there as of right now.
The only evidence that the M3 Body System does have is research that it does help with the cardiovascular system.
The package is a bit high in price, so you will have to keep that in mind, but I am going to tell you right now that if you lead with just a healthy diet and lifestyle you are automatically going to lose some weight.
Throw in some cardio and some weight training and you will be just fine.
But if you are interested, pick some up and try it out.

This will provide additional bonus commissions and extras that Modere offers.

The Modere compensation plan is very bonus-heavy that deal with many qualifications that is a great incentive for people to work harder and gives clear guidelines of what you will have to do in order to receive those extra commissions.

No, Modere is not accredited with the Better Business Bureau.
At this time they do have a listing that you can find here, but no accreditation.
Here is some of the information that the BBB offers:
- Modere has an “A-” rating.
- 1 complaint that was not responded to.
- 4 customer reviews with a 5-star rating.
- 20 total complaints with the “product/service” being the main complaint.
This information is public but I do not ever really go on what the BBB has to say about any company simply because the BBB has been known to have manipulated ratings and reviews from 3rd party service companies.
However, I do like to refer to the BBB for additional company information and to also compare the reviews and testimonials from my other resources online that I refer to.

It’s not cheap!
The cost for the total Modere M3 Body System or the “Mediterranean diet” will cost $159.99.
There are a ton of mixed reviews on the price of this product package.
Many say it is WAY overpriced and many say it’s a great deal.
Personally, I feel this price is very expensive and I am just guessing that most if not all the people that have said it was a great price are members of the Modere opportunity.
But in the end, you have to ask yourself if it is worth the cost of the benefits that it provides, and will be totally up to you to decide whether you need it or not.
I am not sure if you need to purchase this product line in order to earn commissions from selling it, but I would imagine it is not a requirement.
Is Modere A Scam or Legit Opportunity?
In my opinion, yes, Modere is 100% legitimate and is not a scam.
The company has demonstrated that they provide a great MLM business model that other newer MLM companies should take a look at and strive for.
The Modere opportunity offers:
- Retail products
- A solid MLM business structure
- Many years in business
- A solid management team
- Great and honest marketing practices
The amount of time that Modere has been in business makes my final review on whether or not it is a scam solidified in my opinion as well.

In this final section of the review, I am going to share my final thoughts and opinions on the Modere opportunity and the M3 Body System opportunity.
We have taken the time to review the company, the products, the compensation plan, and how you make money with Modere.
We have covered if the Modere opportunity is in compliance and we found that it is a legitimate opportunity.
We found that overall, Modere is a very well-structured MLM business that is going to be around for a very long time.
Modere is not a “get rich quick” scheme that is going to take some work to start generating the type of money that is going to create a full-time income with which you can quit your day job.
It’s an MLM program that requires skills in selling products and the opportunity that you will need in order to be successful.
I do feel there are many other programs out there that will be much faster to generate some really good income which you can learn all about with the links provided on this page.
But if you are looking for a challenge that you will have to understand is going to take years for most people to generate a good income, then Modere might be the perfect opportunity for you.
Especially if you really like the products they offer.
But here is the questions…
Would I recommend the Modere M3 opportunity?
Yes, I would recommend it as far as being a legitimate MLM business opportunity that you can join and make money with.
However, if you are new to MLM or never built a team in the MLM industry it is going to take you years before seeing a good return, but that is only if you are actually working the business and seeing some type of results on a monthly basis.
