But when someone asks me this question, I guess I like to think out of the box because I understand that there are other search engines like Yahoo and Bing being just some of the other search engines that people use to browse the internet.
But when I think about the question, the first thing that comes to mind is that a lot of people associate “Google” with being the internet.
When you put it into that perspective, then the answer to that question has more broad of an answer to me.
The Google search engine is also the most used search engine out of all the search engines that exist, so my answer below is relevant in my opinion.
Below, I will list some of the well-known ways that you can make money posting ads in Google and some other ways to post ads to make money with Google.

Google Adsense Links
Google Adsense is a paid advertising platform that you can use to make money online with the Google company themselves.
People will use Google Adwords and choose to display their link ad using the Adsense platform which those ad links are shown in places like a website and Youtube videos.
Once you select to display these link ads on your website or your Youtube videos, Google will take it from there and display the ads that are the most relevant to your website or video.
Unless you have an ad-blocker, you will encounter a lot of banner ads on websites when you visit them.
Take Youtube for example (which is owned by Google), when you watch a video, sometimes they have little adverts at the bottom of the video that pops up on you, at the begging of the video where it says, “your video will start in 5 seconds”, and at the end of some videos.
When a viewer clicks on that ad, the person that published that video that you are trying to watch gets a small commission.
The way that video publishers get Adsense on their videos is by going into there Youtube account and selecting that you want to make money by displaying ads on your videos with Google Adsense.
You must first sign up with Google Adsense to get this to work.
Other popular places you see these Google Adsense ads are on some of the websites you visit.
When a person wants to earn money with Google Adsense on their website, they will ad an Adsense code to there website to earn money when a person clicks on banners or text ads that Google displays.
The earning that you can make with Google Adsense that is average that you can make is for every 1000 eyeballs that visit your website or video, you will earn anywhere from $8 to $20.
The amount per click that you can earn is all based on the niche that you are in and the keywords that a person searched to get to your website or video.

Google Adwords is used with Google Adsense in the aspect that if you want to directly advertise or market your link to your opportunity, your business, or a product that you are promoting online using certain websites or videos that are using the Adsense platform, using Google Adwords is the way to do it.
You can get a lot of targetted prospects to whatever you are promoting using Google Adwords this way and it is a bit cheaper than using it to advertise on the Google search engine.
No matter what option you choose, you will have to pay Google per click or per 1000 impressions which are on average around a few cents to a few dollars which can really add up if you don’t know what you are doing.
Another way to post a link on Google Adwords to make money is by posting links on this platform for small businesses.
Once you figure out the Google Adwords platform and how to niche down your target audience by demographic and location, then you can really make some big bucks.
If you are good at what you do, and you can make the company an ROI for your help using Google Adwords to post a link to their company, then you can make some really big bucks and once you get that hang of it, it won’t take you a lot of time.
This can translate into the ability to get more customers.
Classified Ad Links
This is one of my broad interpretations of possibilities on how to make money with Google by posting links.
Since most people are searching Google, and one of the websites that a person goes to when they are looking for a job or an item are Classified Ad sites on Google.
So in my perspective, even though this is not a “Google” owned site, people are still using Google to get to these sites.
Making money with classified ads has been a typical online tool that people have been using for years to sell stuff that they don’t need or want to make a profit with.
But in many of these Classified ad sites like Craigslist, there are sections that you can get more specific with to narrow down your ideal audience for the link that you are posting like in the “services” or “jobs” section.
There are many online marketers that use Craigslist to post ads with their links to promote their opportunity or service that they are offering.
When someone purchases through their link, they earn a commission.
Also, posting an ad link about something that you want to get rid of that you don’t want any more like some old tools, or scrap wood, or tiles would be another way on how you can make money posting your ad link on the classified ad platform.
I know that Classified ad sites are not owned by Google, I just wanted to broaden the idea about making money using just Google.

Facebook Ad Links
Facebook has a business section that you can get free access to and set up ads with your links in them to sell products, your opportunity, your new book, or to help promote a local business.
There are many people that are making money with Facebook ads and many more that are not.
Facebook ads is similar to the Google Adwords platform in the sense that you can create an ad with your link to promote various things by paying for either the click or 1,000 impressions.
Now, a HUGE way that Facebook ads are different from the Adwords platform is that with Google, you are targetting “search intent”.
With Facebook Ads, you have to figure out how to narrow down your “target audience” by narrowing down the “things that they are interested in”.
Also, the ad cost doesn’t seem that high per click when compared to Google Ads, BUT you have to remember that the people that you are targeting are people that are interested in the things that YOU determined to have the highest interests in the item/product/service that you are trying to sell.
So, when that happens, you will have to get way more clicks to get the same results you would get for a lot fewer clicks due to when advertising on Google, you are actually targetting keywords and search intent.
There are many Facebook Ad courses on how to tackle the FB beast so that you can actually make money by posting your link there through their platform.
Of course, there are also free ways that you can leave your link on FB which is through posting in Facebook groups and your own status updates.

Now, all of the ways that I mentioned with you above on how to make money with Google posting links, I want to now share with you the best way that I found to make money with Google.
This decision is after making money online since 2008 and using several different methods and techniques to do it.
It’s called affiliate marketing, but more specifically, joining an affiliate reseller program.
What an affiliate reseller program is, it’s a product or program that someone else created that offers customer support and everything that the product or program needs to sustain itself with any customers that purchase it.
The specific type of reseller program that I like is one that “teaches” their resellers all about up-to-date internet marketing techniques and strategies to generate traffic and sales.
I really like that these programs provide any customer support for you and the products or services themselves rather than you having to do all of the work and support which really is a time and money saver.
These types of programs offer a much higher commissions model than just using Adsense and there are many affiliates that are making a better than full-time income with this model.
There is always a cost to join one of these reseller programs but it will always be a one-time cost that will give you lifetime access.
