We wouldn’t want to join a program if it turns out to be a scam and then we end up losing all of the time and money we’ve invested in trying to make money with it.
Unfortunately, we have found programs that ended up stealing people’s money, and that is why we are here reviewing Inbox Dollars today.
To make sure you don’t have to worry about this happening.
In this review, we are going to take a look at what InboxDollars is, how you make money with it, some personal pros and cons that I have, and of course, if it is a scam or not.
With that said, let’s get started.
Inbox Dollars Review – What Is It?
Inbox Dollars is a website that you can join and earn extra money with by completing various tasks like PTC offers.
The amount of money that you can earn will not be that much, however, it does offer a variety of ways that you can make money like, taking surveys, playing games, doing trial offers, referring people, and more ways that I will get into later on in this review.
When you first get situated and started you will get encouraged to register and fill out as many surveys that you can to earn money.
Apparently, the main way that InboxDollars wants you to make money is by surveys, but of course, there are a few other ways that you can earn.
When dealing with surveys, you need to qualify for them before even having the opportunity to receive them to complete them to earn commissions.
They take a lot of statistics into consideration when considering you to get the opportunity to fill out a survey.
That’s basically why some will qualify for more surveys than others, it just comes down to what particular demographics you have and you qualify for.
The way that InboxDollars gets you hooked is by offering money upfront for joining, ($5) then when you start you seem to have a lot more options to make money than for those that were in for any amount of time.
At least, this is what I get from my research…
You can still earn money with all the tasks that they offer, but it is going to take a long while before you can see any significant money since the money that you earn by completing any of the tasks they offer is not going to be that much.
I’ve seen many people call InboxDollars, “InboxPennies” if that will give you an indication of what you can expect.
But what this section is all about is what is InboxDollars…

How Do You Make Money On Inbox Dollars – Do You Really Get Paid To Open Emails & Complete Surveys?
In this section of the review, we are going to take a look at how do you make money with Inbox Dollars.
Can you really make money by opening emails, doing surveys, and playing games inside InboxDollars?
The quick answer is yes, you do get paid by completing all of the money-making activities that they offer.
Inbox Dollars has a great user interface that is simple to navigate for any user.
Once you get in, you can navigate to your money-making task of choice.
Some of the choices include:
- Paid Surveys
- Get Paid To Open and Reply To Emails
- Get Paid To Watch Videos and TV
- Get Paid To Listen To The Radio
- Get Paid To Shop Online
- Get Paid To Use Search Engines
- Get Paid To Fill Out Trial Offers
- Get Paid To Refer People Into InboxDollars
You are not limited to doing just 1 of the money-making tasks that InboxDollars offers within their system.
You can do all of them if you want, it is totally up to you.
So here is a basic rundown of how to make money with Inbox Dollars.
The majority of people that join Inbox Dollars eventually hover towards taking surveys.
This seems to be the highest amount you can get paid for any of the activities they have in place right now.
Surveys seem to be the easiest way to make money, but there are some caveats to making money with actually completing the surveys to get paid.
The first thing is that you need to qualify to take the survey in the first place.
Then, after you actually qualify for one, once you start the survey, all of them have an initial “2nd-step” qualifying series of questions that you will need to pass in order to qualify for that survey.
This will take quite a bit of your time.
Just imagine getting disqualified 4 or 5 times in a row!
Spending about 20 minutes on each survey just trying to qualify and then getting rejected can literally piss people off, I know it would frustrate me.
Many people have reported that you will probably expect to only have about a 25% success rate which makes the majority of your time trying to do surveys, waisted.
InboxPennies Is More Accurate
The more realistic description that InboxDollars should be called in my opinion would be “InboxPennies”.
Many others seem to also have the same opinion as well after researching some other resources I’ve checked out online also.
To be honest, selling lemonade would probably pay more.
The amount that you will earn per survey comes out to be an average of 0.20 cents for completing a survey that you don’t even know if you qualify for in the beginning.
These programs really seem to be great and very enticing with the message that they give you on the surface, but when you actually get involved with it and start trying to generate the money, you quickly get hit with a reality check.
Either way, if you have the time and patience then there shouldn’t be a problem and it is possible to earn money, but it won’t be that much.
The Pros
In this section of the review, I am going to cover some pros of InboxDollars.
- You actually earn cash with Inbox Dollars and not points like most other similar programs. Additionally, you can earn prizes as well that are all guaranteed.
- The ability to earn from multiple platforms within one place via playing games, emails, surveys, and more.
- Earn as much as you can, or at your own pace which is not much but you can still earn consistently smaller commissions on a regular basis which is a pro.
- You can withdraw your earning without any issues that I’ve found. Of course, once you reach the minimum withdrawal amount of $30.
- There are no extra fees when you are ready to cash out.
- They offer a solid way to get your earning which consists of an e Payment option and also by check.
- The site is trusted as a matter of fact the BBB has them listed with an A+ rating. I have more on this topic below.
- InboxDollars offers great and easy user navigation without any glitches. Both on a computer or mobile phone.
- They have a few connections that are well known like Stamps.com, eBay, Netflix, and others.
The Cons
- Inbox Dollars does not pay much per the things that you can make money with that they offer. Other than the surveys but we all know how much time that takes to find ones to do which leads us into the next con which is…
- The time it takes to find surveys that you qualify for to complete and to earn money with.
- The small processing fee when transferring funds of $3. However, if you wait until your account hits $40 there is no fee.
- Inbox Dollars does not offer PayPal to receive funds which I feel is a con, but PayPal has been really petty lately so I don’t blame them for not having this option.
- When InboxDollars offers prepaid cash cards for the rewards you can win it is only offered to US residents so this is a con for anyone that lives outside of the US.
- There is no option for partial payout. You either take it all out at once (once reaching the minimum balance) or keeping it in there.

In this section of the review, we are going to answer some of the questions that people may have when they are thinking about joining the InboxDollars opportunity.
InboxDollars Hack – Is There One?
One of the things that I’ve noticed many people search for online is some sort of bot or hack that will provide software to do some of the tedious tasks that Inbox Dollars offers.
Usually, you can find these hacks for the “paid to click” sites that all they do is automatically click and proceed to the next task for you.
One issue that runs across many of the sites that offer the ability to get paid for doing tasks like opening and reading emails, using browsers, and doing surveys like Inbox Dollars offers these websites have caught on to these hacks and is the quickest way to get your account suspended and shut-down.
You won’t be able to get any money that you earned out since you used these hack software services and you won’t be able to create a new account under regular methods.
In my opinion and recommendation, I would suggest to you if you are thinking of using hacking software, don’t.
It is not worth the money to buy this hack software, and you eventually will lose your Inbox Dollars account, the money you spent on the hack software, and also any money that you made with InboxDollars legitimately.
I know how slow and frustrating it can be to earn money with sites like InboxDollars, but you have to understand it is what it is.
There are no shortcuts, and if you try to manipulate the system, then you have to deal with the repercussions.

Are There Some InboxDollars Complaints?
Of course, there are InboxDollars complaints.
When you have a company that has been around for as long as InboxDollars has been around (since 2000) then you are bound to have some complaints.
It’s just a normal thing that every company that I know of has when sticking around for any length of time.
Here are some of the complaints that I’ve seen online:
It takes forever to reach $30
One of the complaints is that it takes forever to reach the minimum $30 that it takes to withdraw your funds.
You really have to be active in InboxDollars and complete many of the tasks every day to make some money, but no matter what it is going to take a while.
This is a normal complaint but I can understand the frustration but you have to also realize that the payouts are going to be very small.
Termination of your account when withdrawing your commissions
There have also been many complaints that have been reported that people’s accounts get terminated when they try to cash out their earnings.
The reason that was found out was that users need to actively participate within 10-day stretches, and when you are not active within your account will get an inactive status in the background without you even realizing it.
There is not much a user can dispute this due to the InboxDollars terms of service that clearly state when an account does not have any activity in 10 days, their account gets deemed inactive and cannot withdraw any funds.
The way that the system works is that when you are inactive for 10 days you will not know until you try to cash out when you try to do this, the system will update your account into the inactive status.
I know it sucks but if you know this now you can avoid going through this frustration in the future.
Qualifying for surveys is super low
This complaint has been mentioned in this review a few times, but there is no mistaking that completing the paid surveys that InboxDollars offers is the best way to earn the most amount of money.
With that said, it is also the most difficult task to make money in Inbox Dollar.
The complaint is not specific for the Inbox Dollars paid surveys, this is across all paid survey sites.
Like I mentioned before the success rate for qualifying for a survey is on average of 22% roughly, so you can literally spend hours just getting disqualified from each survey you try to fill out.
Complaints about getting spam phone calls and spam emails
If you are not super careful you can get those pesky spam phone calls and emails that will flood your email inbox and get super annoyed with spam phone calls.
With some of the tasks that you can earn money with on the inside of InboxDollars, they may ask for your email and phone number.
If they do you can always just make one up or you can read their terms of service to see what exactly your email and phone number will be used for.
I never use my real phone numbers when signing up for any of these types of programs when I test them out, and if I am going to have to use an email to register, I use a throwaway or an email address created specifically for these types of programs.
Just do the same and you will be just fine.
Complaints about creating a password
This is a complaint but for me, these types of programs I don’t usually use a strong password.
The issue is that InboxDollars will not let you create a strong password with a dynamic string of letters, words, and characters.
It will not let you do it.
You have to create a simple password, but I would suggest being as creative as you can and make it different from any password you use currently.
You can only create 1 account per household
Inbox Dollars has an issue with creating multiple accounts from one IP address.
This means that you can’t have multiple accounts coming from 1 household which is what it is.
So, if you decide to create one account from your phone, and another from your computer, and then one day you decide to log in to the one you created from your cell phone both accounts will be terminated and banned.
Just be aware of this if you want to get serious about earning money with InboxDollar.
Members not getting credit for completing offers
There are many members that are complaining that they are not getting credit for completing some of the offers they complete.
This is something that should be reported to InboxDollar’s support, but you need to understand that many of the offers come from third-party companies and are out of InboxDollar’s hands if they credit you are not.
All you can do is report them and hope they take them out of the system so that this won’t happen again to you or others.
With that said, let’s move on to the next section where we see what the minimum balance you need is before you can withdraw your commissions.
What Is The Minimum Withdraw Payout Amount?
InboxDollars has a minimum amount that your account has to reach before you can withdraw it which is $30.
Is Inbox Dollars BBB Accredited?
Yes, the parent company “Cotterweb” which is also “Daily Rewards” runs InboxDollars.
The company has an A+ rating in the Better Business Bureau.

Is Inbox Dollars A Scam or Legit?
In my opinion, Inbox Dollars is not a scam.
However, as you can see in this review there are a lot of complaints that Inbox Dollars has that members have publicly listed but with that said, many of the complaints are issues that could have been avoided if the members have read the Terms of Service on the InboxDollars company website.

I understand that many of us don’t ever read the long legal pages that websites always have and we usually always have to click on the button that says, “we agree to these terms” which we do but hopefully after reading this review, you will know how important it is to read these terms of service to avoid many of the complaints that keep popping up.
With that said, no, InboxDollars is not a scam and is a legitimate opportunity that you can make money online.

My Final Inbox Dollars Review and Thoughts
In this final section of this review, I am going to cover my final thoughts on the InboxDollars opportunity.
There are many ways that you can earn money within the Inbox Dollars website that we discussed earlier which is a great thing and also to always keep you busy.
The con that I have with all of these methods is that it is going to take a long time to even reach the minimum balance to withdraw your commissions.
You really have to put a lot of time and energy into doing many of the tasks within the website in order to make it worth it.
For some, it is not going to be worth it, and drop out before you are able to even hit your minimum withdrawal amount.
For others, say in a country where the amount that you earn is a lot per your dollar amount, the currency might make a ton of sense and is also worth taking the time and effort.
I know for me, it is not worth it, simply because I know there are easier ways to make more money online than through these paid surveys and paid task types of sites.

Would I recommend or join InboxDollars?
I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone that lives in a country where their currency is similar in the amount as the US dollar, just because the amount is so low for what you will do.
For those where the dollar amount is a lot compared to what your currency amount is then yes, I would recommend it.
For the question that asks if I would join it, well I did join Inbox Dollars just to test it out, but will not continue simply because it takes way too much time to make it worth it for me.
