Welcome to my HempWorx Review.

One of the questions that people ask is if it is a scam or not.

Many new people looking in the MLM world don’t really know what makes an MLM legit.

This is what we are here for so that we do all the work and research for you so you don’t have to.

We are going to dig into the information about the HempWorx opportunity and check the full details on the company, the products, and the compensation plan to see if they offer everything this type of program offers everything they need to in order to be in compliance with the law.

We decided to take a closer look at this company due to the rising popularity in CBD that was due to the signing of the farm bill in late 2018 making it legal to have and sell.

With that said, let’s dig in and learn what it really is all about.

HempWorx Review – What Is It?

HempWorx is an MLM company that gives you the opportunity to make money from home by selling the products and building an MLM downline.

The niche that I would say that the company is in would be the CBD or hemp-based product niche since all of their products contain CBD.

What Is CBD?

CBD is the naturally occurring compound found in the resinous flower of cannabis.

Most people around the USA refer to this flower as the “marijuana plant”.

What the marijuana plant is most typically connected to is the euphoric THC “high” that people get when smoking it or by eating it in the form of the most popular connected THC food; “The brownie”.

However, CBD does not give you the euphoric “high” or the “stoned” feeling that THC (marijuana) gives you.

CBD has been found to be a “non-addictive” substance that offers a TON of therapeutic properties that many people are falling in love with.

CBD has been seen to provide relief for:

• Depression
• Chronic Pain
• Inflammation
• Anxiety
• and many other conditions…

How Does CBD Work?

CBD works within our body by reacting mostly by augmenting or interacting with the effects of the compounds that are already in our bodies.

The endocannabinoid system is what interacts with CBD because both are very similar in structure.

Our endocannabinoid system plays a crucial factor in our body’s physiological processes like our mood, our energy level, our intestinal fortitude, immune activity, blood pressure, bone density, glucose metabolism, how we experience pain, stress, hunger, and more.

With that said, let’s check out the company information.

Company Overview

When taking a look at any MLM company, we like to see who owns it within the company pages.

We found that the company “My Daily Choice” is the parent company of HempWorx and that Josh and Jenna Zwagil are the owners.

The company was incorporated in September 2014 and is based out of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Like we mentioned before, My Daily Choice is the parent company so the company information is the same for both companies.

Our research shows that in 2017 the company pulled in $9 million in company revenue and in 2018 they did $100 million which is really impressive in comparison to all the MLM companies that we have reviewed in the past.

Since the signing of the farm bill in late 2018, I am really interested in seeing what kind of numbers the company will bring in for 2019.

Either way, they have a really solid background and management team with the numbers to back the company up.

What Products Does HempWorx Offer?

In this section of the review, we are going to take a look at the products that hempWorx offers.

One of the most important factors of any MLM company is the product that the company offers.

The product is the main first view that an opportunity seeker and customer will see and will push someone to see more to actually purchase or join the opportunity.

The main ingredient to the HempWorx product is CBD which has been a very popular product that is providing legitimate therapeutic properties for people that need it.

In late 2018, the farm bill has passed which made the growing, sale, and consumption of CBD absolutely legal.

There has been an influx of sales for CBD in the USA which makes HempWorx very exciting to current members and potential future sales.

The company earned $100 million in 2018 when CBD was not totally legit, so 2019 will be very interesting to see how the revenue the company brings in will be.

What Are Some Benefits of Taking CBD?

Some of the questions that I see people ask is what are some of the benefits that taking CBD offers.

I’ve provided some of the answers in the “What is it” section above but here is a list of more of the health benefits that people are getting:

• CBD has been known to help with anxiety
• CBD “may” reduce the symptoms of menopause and PMS
• CBD helps reduce the risk of heart disease
• CBD offers a great source of plant-based protein
• CBD is actually highly nutritious

The HempWorx Products List

The company offers a variety of products that contain CBD from oils, rubs, cream, and even for your pet.

Here is a breakdown of the list of products that HempWorx offers.

• Oil which is the most concentrated CBD you can get
• Relief, Revive and Renew creams that contain CBD
• Coffee and Creamer that contain CBD
• and pet treats that contain CBD

I will actually go into more detail about what each of the product categories includes and will give you a description but first let’s talk about the cost for these products.

Interestingly enough, you are not able to purchase a single product, you have to order it in product packs that contain a variety of quantities or in bulk.

Here is a breakdown of the price that you can purchase the various product packs at:

• The Pet Pack – This product package includes 1 of the pet products for $39 plus shipping and handling.
• The Builder Pack – This product package includes 1 product of any kind for $69 plus shipping and handling.
• The Two Pack – This product package includes 2 products of any kind for $138 plus shipping and handling.
• The Director Pack – This product package includes 4 products of any kind for $199 plus shipping and handling.
• The Executive Pack – This product package includes 12 products of any kind for $599 plus shipping and handling.

Now, let’s get into what each of the product categories includes in the packs that you can purchase.

Full Spectrum and THC Free Hemp Oil

There are 2 concentrations of active CBD that the company offers in the form of a glass bottle dropper that is used under your tongue.

The concentrations come in:

• 500 mg
• 750 mg

There are 2 flavors that you can choose from which are:

• Peppermint
• Natural

The oil base contains BOTH:

• Full-spectrum CBD and
• THC free

Renew – Anti-Aging Cream

The Renew Anti-aging cream comes in a cream that you apply to your face. This product contains 50 mg of active CBD.

Revive Cream

The Revive product is a cream that absorbs quickly through your skin for any specific problem areas. This product contains 50 mg of CBD.

Relief – Icy Pain Rub

This product is very similar to the Icy Rub or Bengay that you can buy at your local store BUT has the added benefit of CBD.

Here are some bullet points to take note of:

• The product contains Emu Oil
• The product includes zero THC
• This product contains 50 mg and active CBD.

HempWorx Products For Pets

This product category is for your pets.

Usually, the older your pet gets, they also start to have pain, so to help with that pain, you can give your pet the HempWorx for pets product that contains a lower dose of CBD.

Here is a breakdown of what this product contains:

• You can get it in either the treats that contain 2.5 mg of CBD or
• You can get it in bacon-flavored oil that contains a higher dose at 250 mg of CBD.
• These 2 products are soy, grain, and corn-free.
• These products do not contain any artificial flavors and are all made in the USA.

When you first join the HempWorx opportunity, you will have a few options to join with a product pack, but the HempWorx company also offers large wholesale options as well that will range in the price of $1,100 to $10,000.

How Does The HempWorx Compensation Plan Work?

In this section of the review, we are going to take a look at how the compensation plan works, and how you can earn money with the HempWorx opportunity they offer.

In all MLM companies, the main 2 ways that you can earn money through the compensation plan that all legitimate MLM companies have is through retail commissions and by sponsoring new affiliate members on your team and building a downline.

The thing that you have to realize when you are thinking about joining the HempWorx opportunity is that all of the commissions and business side of things are run through the parent company which is called My Daily Choice.

HempWorx is a marketing platform that was designed to promote the CBD or Hemp products that they offer.

So, when taking a look at the compensation plan the HempWorx offers, we have to take a look at the pay plan that My Daily Choice has in place since it is one and the same.

There are several ways to earn commissions in HempWorx.

What Ways Can You Earn Money in HempWorx?

There are a total of 8 ways that you can earn commissions in the opportunity which are:

1. Retail Commissions and Preferred Customer Sales
2. Jump Start Bonus
3. Binary Commissions
4. Leadership Check Matching
5. Global Bonus Pool
6. Rank Bonuses
7. VIP Auto Club
8. Elite Expense Accounts

Getting Started

If you decide that you want to start making money from home and use the HempWorx opportunity as your business model of choice then you are going to need to become an affiliate member with the company.

In order to earn commissions from your downline and increase your rank in the company, you will need to meet certain qualifications that the company has put in place.

The first thing you will need to do is to pay the one-time $20 affiliate member fee.

The next thing you will have to do is to meet a certain sales volume requirement each month to maintain your commission qualified status which to start is 40 BV per month to qualify for the lower ranks in the company.

Most people that join an MLM company simply go on an autoship of product each month that reaches your personal volume requirement and others (a very small percentage) reach this volume requirement by selling the products for retail.

You can join as a preferred customer, but this will not allow you to earn commissions with the compensation plan.

As a preferred customer, you get 1 free product for referring 3 customers per month which would only make sense for that preferred customer to earn some extra money by becoming an affiliate member rather than just getting a free product.

Let’s take a look at the first way that you can make money with HempWorx.

Retail Commissions (paid weekly)

Retail commissions also include preferred customer commissions.

The retail commissions that you can earn are the difference between the wholesale amount and the retail amount that you sell the products for.

When concerning preferred customers, the amount that they purchase the product for is not the retail cost, it is lower.

So, preferred customers are treated very similarly to affiliate members that join as far as commissions are concerned.

The first month a preferred customer purchased their products, you will earn what the company calls a “jump start-bonus” which is paid weekly.

The next month that your preferred customer pays for their product will count toward your binary residual commissions which are both explained below.

Jump Start Bonus Commissions and Chart (paid weekly)

The “jump-start bonus” is very similar to what many MLM companies refer to as their “fast-start bonus” which simply means that the company will pay out a higher commission for the first product order than the preferred customer or affiliate member places in their first month.

The jump start bonus commissions are not limited to your personally referred members only, they actually use a unilevel compensation plan structure to track members down a few levels deep.

The company will pay a percentage of any first-month product purchase through the 2 types of members that fall in the levels of your unilevel pay plan that you qualify for.

Unilevel Compensation Plan Structure Breakdown

For those that are not familiar with how the unilevel compensation plan works, here is a quick breakdown:

• 1st Level – The first level of your unilevel compensation plan will only have your personally sponsored members on it.
• 2nd Level – The second level of your unilevel compensation plan will only have team members that your level 1 members personally sponsored on it.
• 3rd Level – The third level of your unilevel compensation plan will only have team members that your level 2 members personally sponsored on it.
• and so on…

Depending on the product purchased will depend on the volume that is counted toward your commission payout.

Here is a breakdown of what each of the products packages are worth in BV:

• Any Pet Pack purchases will count as 20 BV
• Any Builder Pack purchases will count as 40 BV
• Two Pack purchases will count as 80 BV
• Director Pack purchases will count as 100 BV
• Executive Pack purchases will count as 200 BV

1 BV equals $1, so, if you sold 20 BV worth of product, you are going to get paid off of a $20 amount.

The higher you qualify for a rank in the company will mean the more money that you can earn with the compensation plan.

The higher the rank opens up higher percentages of commissions you can earn and more potential of earning more bonuses.

The simple logic is to sponsor as many people as you can as fast as you can and hopefully your members will duplicate your methods.

Below is an income chart that I included to illustrate the percentage that you can earn based on your qualified rank in the company from the BV that you and your team generates.

As you can see, the higher in rank that you qualify for will mean the more percentage that you can earn from this bonus and for all bonuses.

I will give one example, if you are a qualified Executive ranked affiliate member, you will earn 50% of the sales volume from your level 1, 10% on your level 2, 8% on your level 3, and 5% on your level 4 team members that populate those levels of your unilevel compensation plan structure.

It really comes down to how much your team duplicates and recruits people to the HempWorx opportunity.

But is honestly in all circumstances that start with your efforts.

One of the things about the unilevel compensation plan is there is no spill-over, you are basically stuck at starting your business by your own efforts which is ok after you know how and where to recruit people.

Binary Residual Commissions (paid monthly)

HempWorx pays out residual commissions.

I would have to say that the most attractive part of any MLM company as a whole is the residual commissions that you can make with them.

The company starts paying out your Binary residual commissions starting on the second month your preferred customers and affiliate members repurchase their products.

The way they pay these commissions is through the MLM Binary compensation plan structure.

How Does The Binary Compensation Plan Work?

For those that are not familiar with how the binary compensation plan works, here is a quick breakdown:

• Binaries only have 2 legs, a left and a right
• Either leg can be built to an unlimited depth
• You need to have 1 personally sponsored member on both legs to qualify for these commissions
• You must also qualify for these commissions by having 40 BV per month and also 90 BV from at least 2 personally referred members.
• Each leg counts for its own sales volume
• The leg that has fewer sales volume is considered your pay leg (weaker)
• The pay leg is the leg that you get paid from
• You get paid on a 1:1 ratio.
• When you personally sponsor-members they will either land on the outside spot of your left or right leg.
• Binaries can be filled with direct or indirect sponsoring
• The sales volume on both legs that are counted toward your commission payout is taken out

Hopefully, this explanation makes a better sense of how the binary compensation structure works for those that were not familiar with it.

Since the binary pays out on a 1:1 ratio on sales volume coming from both legs, for example, say if you had 350 BV on your right leg and 1200 BV on your left leg, you will get paid from the 350 BV, and when you get your commission, 350 BV will be taken away from your right and left leg leaving you with 850 BV on your left leg.

Depending on your rank in the company, you can earn 8% up to 20% of the sales volume that is generated from your weaker “pay leg”.

Additionally, depending on your rank, you can earn a capped amount that is set up to earning $500 up to $1 million per month from your monthly residual binary commissions.

Any volume that you don’t get paid on will be rolled over to the next pay period as long as you maintain your 40 BV monthly autoship.

Leadership Check Matching Commissions and Chart (paid monthly)

The leadership check matching commissions that the company offers are commissions that are paid from your personally sponsored members and team members that populate the unilevel compensation plan structure.

The commissions that you can earn when qualified will be a percentage of the earning from team member’s binary residual commissions that they earn.

These commissions are paid out when you earn your residual commissions from the binary which are monthly.

Depending on the rank that you qualify for in the company will depend on how many levels of your unilevel compensation plan structure you can be paid on.

There are a total of 10 levels that you can earn from.

Here is the matching leadership check matching chart that illustrates how this works:

Global Bonus Pool Commissions (paid monthly)

The way that the Global Bonus Pool commissions work is the company will set aside 2% of the company-wide total sales volume for each month and share it with all affiliate members that qualify for this bonus pool.

You will be able to earn “shares” in this bonus pool in various ways that will be counted toward a shared portion of this pool that will be paid out to you.

To qualify, you first must be on a 40 BV per month order each month.

The way to earn these shares are the following:

• Enroll 4 new affiliate members or Preferred Customers in 1 Month – Earn 1 share for every 4.
• Move up in rank starting at the 5K Rank. When you advance in rank starting at the 5K Rank, you will earn 2 shares for each rank advancement.

The bonus pool amount changes each month due to the amount that the company earns for any given month.

Rank Advancement Bonus Commissions (one-time payout)

The rank advancement bonus commissions are paid out once and are an incentive created by companies to help drive members to produce more.

When you advance in rank starting at the 5K Rank, you will start seeing these one-time rank advancement bonuses.

The higher in rank that you qualify for will mean the more money that you can earn.

Here is a breakdown of what you can earn once you qualify:

• 5K Rank – When qualified for this rank, you will earn a one-time commission of $500.
• 10K Rank – When qualified for this rank, you will earn a one-time commission of $1,000.
• 25K Rank – When qualified for this rank, you will earn a one-time commission of $2,500.
• 50K Rank – When qualified for this rank, you will earn a one-time commission of $5,000.
• 100K Rank – When qualified for this rank, you will earn a one-time commission of $10,000.
• 250K Rank – When qualified for this rank, you will earn a one-time commission of $25,000.
• 500K Rank – When qualified for this rank, you will earn a one-time commission of $50,000.
• Super Affiliate Rank – When qualified for this rank, you will earn a one-time commission of $100,000.

There are also 2 more things that you will need to do in order to qualify for these one-time bonuses.

1. You must maintain your rank for 90 days in a row.
2. You must be on 90 BV per month product autoship (or sell).

VIP Auto Club Commissions (paid monthly)

This bonus commission is very popular in many MLM companies that we have reviewed.

Some call this bonus their “car bonus” others call it their “lifestyle bonus”.

The common factor among them all is that these are commissions that you can earn once you reach a certain rank in the company and will be paid out every month to you as long as you maintain your rank.

Here is a breakdown of what you will earn each month once you qualify for the ranks listed below:

• 5K Rank – Once you qualify for this rank, the company will pay you an extra $150 per month.
• 10K Rank – Once you qualify for this rank, the company will pay you an extra $250 per month.
• 25K Rank – Once you qualify for this rank, the company will pay you an extra $500 per month.
• 50K Rank – Once you qualify for this rank, the company will pay you an extra $1,000 per month.

There is one catch…

To fully qualify and receive this bonus, you must place a logo sticker of the company on your vehicle.

Elite Expense Account Program Commissions (paid monthly)

These “elite expense account commissions” are simply an extension to the VIP Auto Club commissions that were explained in the last section with a “fancier name”.

As you noticed in the last section we stopped at the rank of 50K.

These monthly bonus commissions that you can earn payout at the 100K Rank and higher with the same qualifications minus the car logo sticker requirement.

Here is what you will earn extra per month once you qualify for these ranks for this bonus:

• 100K Rank – Once you qualify for this rank, the company will pay you an extra $2,000 per month.
• 250K Rank – Once you qualify for this rank, the company will pay you an extra $5,000 per month.
• 500K Rank – Once you qualify for this rank, the company will pay you an extra $10,000 per month.
• Super Affiliate Rank – Once you qualify for this rank, the company will pay you an extra $20,000 per month.

That is really all there is to how the compensation plan works and how you can earn money with the HempWorx opportunity.

My HempWork Q and A Section

In this section of the review, we are going to answer some of the questions that people may have when thinking about joining the HempWorx opportunity.

Is HempWorx Accredited With The BBB?

When we are taking a look at the question of is HempWorx BBB is accredited, we have to take a look at the parent company called My Daily Choice.

So the more accurate question would be “Is My Daily Choice BBB Accredited”?

The answer is no, My Daily Choice is not accredited with the Better Business Bureau at this time.

The company does have a listing on the BBB with a customer rating of a B- at this time.

Here is what I found:

• There is a total of 60 customer reviews on the BBB
• There were a total of 43 complaints that were answered in the last 3 years.
• The main complaint was due to support issues and product issues
• There were a few complaints about the money-back guarantee
• With that said, the have close to a 5-star rating on the BBB

Now, not having accreditation or even a listing on the BBB does not make a company a scam.

There are a TON of companies that are not listed or without BBB accreditation that I’ve found are 100% legitimate.

I usually only take the information that the BBB has on the company and to check out the reviews and testimonials to compare with my other resources.

What’s The Cost To Join HempWorx?

The minimum cost to join is a $20 one-time fee to become an affiliate member and sell the products.

But to earn from the compensation plan you will need to purchase at least the $69 package of products that comes out close to $85 with tax and shipping for the affiliate wholesale pricing.

This, of course, is the easiest way to qualify to earn, but if you are able to earn the volume requirements from retail sales per month, then you don’t have to purchase the product.

There are personal volume requirements that you will want to take note of to qualify for certain ranks in the compensation plan per month that I’ve included above in the compensation plan section.

The cost for a product package can range up to $10,000 for the wholesale price for bulk product packages but everything is, of course, optional for your personal or sales needs.

Is HempWorx A Scam or Legitimate Opportunity?

In our opinion, NO, HempWorx is definitely not a scam, and here are some reasons why:

• They have been in business since 2014
• They produced $100 million in 2018 and still going strong
• They have great management and ownership
• They offer retail products
• They offer a great and fair compensation plan

With everything combined including the complaints that I’ve found on the company, they are running a legitimate MLM business model.
