Welcome to my CILI By Design review.

One of the questions that we are going to take a look at and get an answer to today is if Cili by Design is a scam or not.

One of the worst feelings to have when just getting started with a new opportunity is finding out the company is getting shut down a few months later after joining because of either bad business practices or a business model that is not in compliance.

We are going to take the time to research and review the information about the company, the products, and the compensation plan to see what kind of information we can dig up and publish it here for you to read.

This review will be based on the current MLM laws and will be unbiased.

With that said, let’s dig in and see what we can learn about the Cili by Design opportunity.

CILI by Design Review – What Is It?

Cili by Design is an MLM company that is designed to offer the ability for members to earn money by selling the retail products and building a team of affiliate members.

The niche that I would consider the company to be in would be the CBD oil niche.

Company Overview

When taking a look at any MLM company, we like to see who owns or runs the company so that we can see what kind of background and experience they have.

This will give us a good gauge of what type of owner that they are going to be.

With that said, we found that Brad Hager and Marcia Hager are the owners.

The company is based out of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Brad has been involved in sales and management for over 10 years with a good resume that includes a fortune 200 company.

From that position, he decided to jump into the world of MLM and has taken big strides in becoming one of the top income earners in many of the companies that he was a member of.

Marcia also has an impressive resume that includes starting out in the MLM world in her early 20’s.

During her career in MLM, she was able to become a co-owner of her very own MLM company.

As far as management and ownership are concerned, if you do decide to join, you will be partnering up with good experience and leadership from what we have learned.

What Products Does CILI by Design Offer?

In this section of the review, we are going to cover the information that we have found about the products that Cili by Design offers.

The main ingredient that all of the company’s products have within them is CBD hemp oil.

The company claims that they offer the pure and most bioavailable hemp oil on the market which is a very bold statement when considering there are many other companies on the market that claim the same.

Either way, I like the high confidence level the company has about its products.

Each of their products delivers the product in oral spray dispensers that look like a square white box that fits in your hand except for the Cili Swish product which comes in a liquid form that you take orally under your tongue.

Let’s start out talking about the flagship product that the company offers.

CILI Swish

The Cili Swish product that the company offers is their flagship or the main product that the company leads with.

This product offers a full spectrum CBD hemp oil which also contains trace amounts of THC.

So don’t go ahead and take this product if your job requires you to take random tests!

The other ingredients that Cili Swish contains are:

• Ashwagandha
• Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM)
• Resveratrol
• Boswellia Serrata
• Corydalis Yanhusuo
• Sarsaparilla Rhizome
• Curcumin

Cili Boost is the next product on the list.

This product is an energy supplement that offers CBD hemp oil.

I know, it sounds weird when one of the side effects of CBD is relaxation, but I guess it is supposed to offer an energy boost for you when taken.

Along with the CBD hemp oil, Cili Boost also contains:

• Ginkgo Biloba
• Red Ginseng
• Vitamin B6
• Kola Nut
• Citicoline
• Tyrosine
• Bacopa Monnieri
• Paullinia Cupana

CILI Sleep

The next product on the list is Cili Sleep.

Yup, now this product makes more sense since the main side effect of all CBD hemp oil is relaxation.

Just like the name suggests, it is a sleep aid product that is supposed to provide a good night and restful sleep.

This is another “full-spectrum” CBD hemp oil product that contains trace ingredients of THC which will show up in drug tests, so it will be a good idea to avoid taking this product if your job requires you to take random drug tests.

Along with the CBD hemp oil ingredient, here are the others that Cili Sleep contains:

The Cili Serenity product that the company offers is designed to help you become less stressed.

It offers a combination that includes CBD hemp oil that will give you a relaxing day after you consume it stated by the company.

Pure CBD does offer a relaxing feeling as a side effect so it makes sense.

The company has it listed to help you stay balanced and healthy as well.

This also has a full spectrum of CBG help oil that contains trace THC so be careful when taking it because it will show up on a drug test.

The last product on the list is called Cili Relief.

This is a product that is supposed to help you recover from a hard workout or a long day at work.

The product includes a full-spectrum CBD hemp oil and other ingredients that help you alleviate or lessen the pain that you get from sore muscles and joint pain.

Again, I just want to stress the fact that full-spectrum CBD has trace amounts of THC that can appear in a drug test.

Just know this fact if your job requires you to do random drug tests.

As of right now, CBD is a highly attractive and hot product now that the regulations are not as strict as they were in the past years.

I personally agree with the benefits that you can get from CBD and there are a ton of people that have had some great experiences with the product as well.

Plus, it is all-natural without it being manufactured into something else.

So, yeah, another great product lineup in my opinion.

One of the things that are throwing me off a bit is their FDA disclosure statement at the bottom of the website which states that none of the products contain THC.

By definition, full-spectrum CBD has trace amounts so what is the deal CILI?

How Does The CILI by Design Compensation Plan Work?

In this section of the review, we are going to take a look at how the compensation plan works and how you can make money with the CILI by Design opportunity.

There is a total of 10 ways that you can earn money and incentives through the CILI by Design compensation plan which are:

Getting Started

The first thing that you will need to do to start earning as an affiliate member is to join by either paying the yearly affiliate membership or purchasing one of the product packs described below.

But first I want to cover the ranks that you can qualify for in the compensation plan because it will determine how much you can earn through the prosperity plan that Cili by Design offers.

Ranks and Qualifications

The rank that you can qualify for in CILI by Design will determine the amount of money that you can make with the compensation plan that the company offers all its affiliate members.

There is a lot of “stair-step” type of amounts that you can earn when you increase your rank with this pay plan.

Here is a breakdown of the 12 ranks that you can qualify for along with the qualifications that you will need to reach all 12:

• Member Rank – To qualify for this rank you simply need to be on a qualifying 65/50 BV per month autoship.
• C1 – To qualify for this rank you will need to personally recruit and maintain 1 customer and 1 member with a total team BV of 200.
• C2 – To qualify for this rank you will need to personally recruit and maintain 2 customers and 2 members with a total team BV of 600.
• C3 – To qualify for this rank you will need to personally recruit and maintain 3 customers and 3 members with a total team BV of 2,000.
• C4 – To qualify for this rank you will need to personally recruit and maintain 4 customers and 4 members with a total team BV of 5,000. 70% of the total team volume can only come from one binary leg.
• C5 – To qualify for this rank you will need to personally recruit and maintain 4 customers and 5 members with a total team BV of 15,000. 65% of the total team volume can only come from one binary leg.
• C6 – To qualify for this rank you will need to personally recruit and maintain 4 customers and 6 members with a total team BV of 30,000. 60% of the total team volume can only come from one binary leg.
• C7 – To qualify for this rank you will need to personally recruit and maintain 4 customers and 7 members with a total team BV of 60,000. 55% of the total team volume can only come from one binary leg.
• C8 – To qualify for this rank you will need to personally recruit and maintain 4 customers and 8 members with a total team BV of 120,000. 50% of the total team volume can only come from one binary leg.
• C9 – To qualify for this rank you will need to personally recruit and maintain 4 customers and 9 members with a total team BV of 250,000. 45% of the total team volume can only come from one binary leg.
• C10 – To qualify for this rank you will need to personally recruit and maintain 4 customers and 10 members with a total team BV of 500,000. 40% of the total team volume can only come from one binary leg.
• C11 – To qualify for this rank you will need to personally recruit and maintain 4 customers and 11 members with a total team BV of 1,000,000. 35% of the total team volume can only come from one binary leg.
• C12 – To qualify for this rank you will need to personally recruit and maintain 4 customers and 12 members with a total team BV of 2,500,000. 30% of the total team volume can only come from one binary leg.

For all of the ranks, you are required to maintain a monthly $65 BV for a Standard Order or $50 BV for an Easy Order as what is stated by the company.

Retail Commissions

Retail commissions are earned any time a customer makes a purchase from your replicated member website.

These commissions are paid out using the unilevel compensation plan.

For those that are not familiar with how the unilevel compensation plan works, here is a quick overview:

• Level 1 – The first level of your unilevel compensation plan will only have your personally recruited members on it.
• Level 2 – The second level on your compensation plan will only have team members that your level 1 members personally recruited on it.
• Level 3 – The third level on your compensation plan will only have team members that your level 2 members personally recruited on it.
• and so on…

Now that you have somewhat of an idea of how the unilevel works, depending on your rank, you can earn more retail commissions on more levels.

There are a total of 4 levels that you can earn retail commissions from.

Here is a breakdown of the retail commissions that you can earn depending on your rank:

• Member Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will earn 25% on level 1 of your unilevel compensation plan only.
• C1 Rank – When you qualify for this rank, you will earn 25% on your level 1, and 10% on your level 2.
• C2 Rank – When you qualify for this rank, you will earn 25% on your level 1, 10% on your level 2, and 5% on your level 3.
• C3 through C12 Ranks – When you are qualified for these ranks, you will earn 25% on your level 1, 10% on your level 2, 5% on your level 3, and 5% on your level 4.

Retail Fast Start Bonus

Retail commissions are earned when you personally recruit 10 personal VIP customers in your first 4 weeks after you join as an affiliate member.

When you hit this qualification, you will earn $150 of free products of your choice and a $150 commission.

Personal Sales Bonus Commissions

The personal sales bonus commissions that you can earn are made from your personally recruited member’s product purchases each month.

This bonus is paid out weekly.

Every time that your personally recruited members make a product purchase you will earn up to 25% of each of their product purchases.

There is no limit on how many personally recruited members you can earn from.

However, there is a limit on the amount that you can earn depending on your qualified rank.

Here is a breakdown of what you can earn on your personally recruited product purchases each month:

• Member Rank – When you qualify for this rank, you will earn 10% from every personally recruited member’s product purchase each month.
• C1 Rank – When you qualify for this rank, you will earn 15% from every personally recruited member’s product purchase each month.
• C2 Rank – When you qualify for this rank, you will earn 20% from every personally recruited member’s product purchase each month.
• C3 Rank through C12 Rank – When you qualify for these ranks, you will earn 25% from every personally recruited member’s product purchase each month.

Business Builder Fast Start

The business builder fast start can be earned when you complete these 3 requirements:

• Generate 200 in personal BV.
• You are required to personally recruit 4 VIP customers.
• You are required to personally recruit 4 VIP members who each purchase a builder pack.

Oh yeah, you must also complete all 3 requirements in your first 4 weeks after joining.

Once you complete all of these requirements you will earn $200 in free products of your choice and a $200 commission.

Team Commissions (binary)

The “team commissions” are the main part of the CILI by Design compensation plan due to the main residual income opportunity it offers.

This is the main reason why the majority of new members join any MLM company.

The chance to earn residual commissions that they can earn a full-time and stable income from.

These commissions are paid when your personally recruited members and all of your team members keep ordering products each month.

For those that are not familiar with how the binary compensation plan works, here is a quick breakdown:

• Binaries only have a right and left leg.
• Each leg can be built to unlimited depth.
• The leg with fewer sales volume is considered your pay leg.
• You are required to maintain a personally recruited member on your left and right leg.
• You can fill either leg by direct and indirect recruiting.

Hopefully, this gives you a decent idea of how the binary compensation plan works for those that were unfamiliar with it.

You can also place any of your personally recruited members on either your left or right leg as needed.

These residual commissions are paid out each week.

As a qualified C2 Ranked member and up, you can start earning from this commission structure.

Here is a breakdown of what you can earn from the volume on your weaker leg each week depending on your qualified rank in the company:

• C2 Rank – When you qualify for this rank, you will be able to earn 10% from the sales volume generated on your weaker binary leg each week. Weekly earnings are capped at $500 per week for this rank.
• C3 Rank – When you qualify for this rank, you will be able to earn 11% from the sales volume generated on your weaker binary leg each week. Weekly earnings are capped at $500 per week for this rank. Weekly earnings are capped at $1,000 per week for this rank.
• C4 Rank – When you qualify for this rank, you will be able to earn 12% from the sales volume generated on your weaker binary leg each week. Weekly earnings are capped at $2,500 per week for this rank.
• C5 Rank – When you qualify for this rank, you will be able to earn 13% from the sales volume generated on your weaker binary leg each week. Weekly earnings are capped at $7,500 per week for this rank.
• C6 Rank – When you qualify for this rank, you will be able to earn 14% from the sales volume generated on your weaker binary leg each week. Weekly earnings are capped at $12,500 per week for this rank.
• C7 Rank – When you qualify for this rank, you will be able to earn 15% from the sales volume generated on your weaker binary leg each week. Weekly earnings are capped at $25,000 per week for this rank.
• C8 Rank – When you qualify for this rank, you will be able to earn 16% from the sales volume generated on your weaker binary leg each week. Weekly earnings are capped at $50,000 per week for this rank.
• C9 Rank – When you qualify for this rank, you will be able to earn 17% from the sales volume generated on your weaker binary leg each week. Weekly earnings are capped at $100,000 per week for this rank.
• C10 Rank – When you qualify for this rank, you will be able to earn 18% from the sales volume generated on your weaker binary leg each week. Weekly earnings are capped at $250,000 per week for this rank.
• C11 Rank – When you qualify for this rank, you will be able to earn 19% from the sales volume generated on your weaker binary leg each week. Weekly earnings are capped at $500,000 per week for this rank.
• C12 Rank – When you qualify for this rank, you will be able to earn 20% from the sales volume generated on your weaker binary leg each week. Weekly earnings are capped at $1,000,000 per week for this rank.

Mentor Bonus Commissions

The mentor bonus is traditionally known as the personally recruited matching bonus that many other MLM companies offer as part of their compensation plan.

You are able to earn up to a 50% match on your personally recruited member’s weekly binary commissions when you reach the rank of C12.

Again, these commissions are based on your personally recruited members and on their earnings from their binary compensation plan, (Team commissions) that we explained above.

Here is a breakdown of what you can earn from your personally recruited members weekly binary commissions when you qualify for the ranks below:

• C3 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will be able to earn 5% from all of your personally recruited member’s weekly binary commissions.
• C4 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will be able to earn 10% from all of your personally recruited member’s weekly binary commissions.
• C5 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will be able to earn 15% from all of your personally recruited member’s weekly binary commissions.
• C6 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will be able to earn 20% from all of your personally recruited member’s weekly binary commissions.
• C7 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will be able to earn 25% from all of your personally recruited member’s weekly binary commissions.
• C8 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will be able to earn 30% from all of your personally recruited member’s weekly binary commissions.
• C9 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will be able to earn 35% from all of your personally recruited member’s weekly binary commissions.
• C10 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will be able to earn 40% from all of your personally recruited member’s weekly binary commissions.
• C11 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will be able to earn 45% from all of your personally recruited member’s weekly binary commissions.
• C12 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will be able to earn 50% from all of your personally recruited member’s weekly binary commissions.

Car and Transportation Bonus Commissions

The car and transportation bonus commissions are paid out to you monthly as long as you maintain your qualified rank.

If you fail to keep the qualifications you need for your previous month’s rank and drop down to the prior rank level, your monthly income for this bonus will also drop for that rank as well.

These commissions are designed to entice you to build your CILI by Design business as an incentive by the company which is always a good thing.

Here is a breakdown of the extra monthly bonus commissions that you will earn once you qualify for the company ranks below:

• C4 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will earn a $100 monthly bonus commission.
• C5 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will earn a $250 monthly bonus commission.
• C6 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will earn a $350 monthly bonus commission.
• C7 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will earn a $450 monthly bonus commission.
• C8 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will earn a $550 monthly bonus commission.
• C9 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will earn a $700 monthly bonus commission.
• C10 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will earn an $850 monthly bonus commission.
• C11 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will earn a $1,000 monthly bonus commission.

Travel and Expense Account

The Travel and Expense account is similar to the Car and Transportation bonus in the fact that they also are paid out monthly and also based on your qualified rank.

This bonus was to help you with your cost to travel.

• C5 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will earn a $250 monthly bonus commission.
• C6 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will earn a $500 monthly bonus commission.
• C7 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will earn a $1,000 monthly bonus commission.
• C8 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will earn a $2,000 monthly bonus commission.
• C9 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will earn a $3,500 monthly bonus commission.
• C10 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will earn a $5,0000 monthly bonus commission.
• C11 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will earn a $7,500 monthly bonus commission.
• C12 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will earn a $10,000 monthly bonus commission.

Healthcare and Insurance Bonus

The Healthcare and Insurance bonus is also a monthly bonus that will pay you monthly when you qualify for it.

To earn this extra monthly bonus, you simply have to qualify and maintain the rank that the company offers.

These monthly extra bonus commissions are to help you with the cost of Healthcare and Insurance but you don’t need to use the money for it if you don’t need to, you can use the extra money for whatever you want to.

Here is a breakdown of the monthly commissions that you can earn when you are qualified as a C6 Ranked member and higher:

• C6 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will earn a $350 monthly bonus commission.
• C7 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will earn a $450 monthly bonus commission.
• C8 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will earn a $550 monthly bonus commission.
• C9 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will earn a $650 monthly bonus commission.
• C10 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will earn a $750 monthly bonus commission.
• C11 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will earn an $850 monthly bonus commission.
• C12 Rank – When you qualify for this rank you will earn a $1,200 monthly bonus commission.

Rank Advancement Bonus Commissions

The rank bonus is paid out when you qualify and hold the rank of C5 and higher for 3 consecutive months.

Once you hold that rank for 3 months, you will earn a one-time bonus commission.

You can only earn these bonuses one-time.

My CILI By Design Q and A Section

In this section of the review, we are going to answer some of the questions that people may have when thinking about joining the CILI by Design opportunity.

Is CILI by Design BBB Accredited?

No, there is no record that at this time, CILI by Design is accredited with the Better Business Bureau.

There is no doubt in my opinion that in the near future that the company will be listed and accredited to some extent with the BBB.

However, as far as the BBB being a determining factor for the legitimacy of any company or program is not in our opinion a determining factor.

There have been a ton of companies that we have run across that we found to be in compliance with the law and to be 100% legitimate that is not listed or mentioned on the BBB website.

With that said, let’s continue.

What’s The Cost To Join CILI by Design?

The minimum cost to join is $39.95 and at least 65 personal BV points to become an affiliate member that qualifies for commissions.

You also will have the option to choose one of the product packs that will provide volume, discounts on products, and compensation plan incentives.

• Consumer Pack ($69.95) – This pack includes a 1-year affiliate membership and the smallest product pack that will include a variety of the CILI by Design products.

• Networker Pack ($499.95) – This pack includes a 1-year affiliate membership and the smallest product pack that will include a large variety of the CILI by Design products. (375 BV and Rank Promotion)
• Pro Pack ($749.95) – This pack includes a 1-year affiliate membership and the smallest product pack that will include the largest variety of the CILI by Design products. (563 BV and Rank Promotion)

What Is The Refund Policy?

CILI by Design does have a refund policy but it’s not that great or even good at all in my opinion.

For the states of MT, residents have a 15-day return policy where the company will honor a 100% money-back return on the purchase of the product.

For the residents of Louisiana, the company will honor a 90% money-back guarantee of the purchase price.

For residents of MA and WY, the company will honor a 90% money-back guarantee.

Unless specified by the company that can be found in their Terms and Service, you will have 5 days to cancel your purchase with no penalty.

You can also find additional terms on that page as well that will be important to take note of.

To cancel, you are required to send a letter via postal or a digital cancellation letter to the company to cancel your membership.

In my opinion, that kind of sucks, I always like it when the company has a simple push-button step in their back-office that has a 2 or 3-step cancellation process to make things easier for their members.

In my opinion, no, CILI by Design is not a scam, and here are a few of my reasons why:

• The company offers retail products
• The company offers great management with experience
• The company offers a fair compensation plan
• They offer great products

Overall, I feel that the company offers everything they need to offer in order to be a legitimate MLM company.
