Bonvera Review – Scam or Legit? Compensation Plan Simplified

Welcome to my Bonvera Review.

One of the things that people want to know about a company that they can make money is if it is a scam or not.

There are too many companies right now giving the industry a bad name so what we are going to do is take a look at the Bonvera company today and dig into the information about the company, information on the products they offer, and how their compensation plan works and how you get paid with it.

Bonvera Review

We are going to offer information about whether we feel that the company is a legitimate opportunity by comparing what the company offers with the guidelines that the FTC has in place for opportunities like this one.

We decided to take a closer look at the company and how it works because of some social buzz that we were seeing online and wanted to see what it really is all about.

With that said, let’s dig in and see what we can learn.

Bonvera Review – What Is It?

Bonvera Reviews

The Bonvera opportunity is an MLM company that offers health supplements and also the ability to earn money with it by selling the product for retail and also by referring others and building a team of other distributors for the company in your downline.

The niche that I would consider Bonvera to be in would be the health and wellness MLM niche.

The company offers numerous supplements and also offers a diverse and fair compensation plan.

The Company Overview

When taking a looking at the company information we like to see who owns it on the company pages.

This gives us the opportunity to learn more about the owner’s background and experience and also offers a trust factor.

Bonvera doesn’t offer this on the company pages but does offer it on their blog page where the owner is actually the author.

Bonvera Company CEO Owner Founder

The company is owned by Robert Dickie which is mentioned on the blog page that we mentioned. (blog reads as “Bob”)

The Bonvera company actually launched back in early 2016 when it was under a different owner.

In May 2018, the company went through a leadership change where we believe is when Robert took over ownership of the company according to his LinkedIn page.

The company is now based in Knoxville, Tennessee in the USA now after Robert took it over.

Other than Robert being the CEO, we couldn’t find any more information on any management team on the company website either.

Some of the experience and background Robert has is that he was the president of Crown Financial Ministries and was also involved with Amway for a short time.

That is all we have about the company and ownership information, let’s move on to the next section.

Bonvera Compensation Plan Breakdown

Bonvera Compensation Plan Breakdown

In this section of the review, we are going to dig into how the compensation plan works and how you make money with Bonvera.

The way that the Bonvera compensation plan works is you will get compensated for selling the products for retail cost and also by referring other affiliate members and by building a distribution team.

The compensation plan consists of several ways that you can make money that include things like:

  • Referral Commissions
  • Bonus Commission Pools
  • Performance Bonuses
  • and more…

Getting Started (commission qualified)

When wanting to join the opportunity that Bonvera offers you will have to make an investment and purchase 100 PV (personal volume) per month and also do 1 of the 2 following things:

  • Personally refer and maintain at least 5 retail customers or…
  • personally refer and maintain at least 2 Smart Shoppers.

Personal volume is the sales volume that is generated by you by either purchasing the product yourself, retail customer sales, and even through your personally referred affiliate member’s purchases.

Here are some more useful terms to take note of:

  • Retail Customers – A retail customer is a person that purchases a product without joining the opportunity, and an “active” retail customer is someone that purchases a product for more than one month.
  • Smart Shoppers – A smart shopper is a person that pays for a yearly $19.95 membership, commits to a monthly purchase, and also gets a 20% discount.

Retail Commissions

Bonvera will pay you as an affiliate member for retail sales that customers purchase from your entire team which is called group volume (GV).

Group Volume – This is considered the sales volume that is made through all of your personally referred and all of your downline members that stem from them.

When your entire team produces more group sales volume, the better (higher) your commission rate percentage will get.

Here is a breakdown of the commission percentage rate you will get when your total team generates more group volume:

  • When you generate 100 – 749 GV per month you will qualify for a retail commissions rate of 4%.
  • When you generate 750 – 1499 GV per month you will qualify for a retail commissions rate of 8%.
  • When you generate 1500 – 2499 GV per month you will qualify for a retail commissions rate of 12%.
  • When you generate 2500 – 4999 GV per month you will qualify for a retail commissions rate of 16%.
  • When you generate 5000 – 7499 GV per month you will qualify for a retail commissions rate of 20%.
  • When you generate 7500 – 9,999 GV per month you will qualify for a retail commissions rate of 24%.
  • When you generate 10,000 GV per month you will qualify for a retail commissions rate of 28%.

Differential Bonus Commissions

The Differential Bonus commissions that you can earn is based on the difference between your retail commission’s rate and your personally sponsored member’s retail commission rate.

Let’s say that your personally sponsored member qualifies for the 24% retail commissions rate and you are at the 8% commissions rate, you will earn 16% of the PV.

National Bonus Pools

The bonus commission pools are additional commissions that you can earn.

This is a percentage of the total company-wide sales profits that the company sets aside to pay affiliate members that qualify for several bonus pool tiers.

There is a total of 16 bonus pools that you can qualify for and make money with that are all based on your rank.

Here is a breakdown of each bonus pool offers including the ranks and qualifications and the percentage amount you will get when you qualify:

Unilevel Compensation Plan Structure Breakdown

How To Make Money With Bonvera

For those that are not familiar with how the MLM unilevel compensation plan is structured here is a quick breakdown:

  • Level 1 – The first level of your unilevel compensation plan will only have your personally enrolled members on it.
  • Level 2 – The second level of your unilevel compensation plan will only have team members that your level 1 members (personally sponsored) referred to it.
  • Level 3 – The third level of your unilevel compensation plan will only have team members that your level 2 team members referred to it.
  • and so on…
  • Each of your personally sponsored members is considered “1 leg or 1 team”.

I hope that makes it a bit more clear on how the unilevel compensation plan is structured.

This quick guide will help you understand certain aspects of how you qualify for certain bonus commissions and ranks.

Bonvera Autoship Bonus Commissions

This bonus commission is only offered in your first 45 days after you sign up as an affiliate member for Bonvera.

For every person that you sponsor that goes on autoship, you will earn a $25 autoship bonus.

Registered Customer Bonus

The registered customer bonus is paid when you refer a customer that purchases products with Bonvera.

When you refer a customer that makes a purchase you will earn 50% of the sales volume that was generated from that sale.

We are not 100% sure if this is only for your first customer only or for everyone you refer, but this would not make sense for the company if it would be for everyone due to the high percentage payout amount.

Car Bonus Monthly Commissions

The car bonus commission that Bonvera offers is a residual commission that you must stay qualified to keep earning them.

This is a bonus that is paid out on your performance.

When qualified for the car bonus monthly commissions you will earn $400 per month extra on top of whatever else you earn with the compensation plan that Bonvera offers.

Here is a breakdown of what you need to do in order to qualify for these commissions:

  • You will need to maintain your monthly 100 PV autoship
  • You must have at least 1 unilevel team leg with at least 20 autoship orders.
  • You must also maintain at least 20 more autoship orders throughout the rest of your unilevel team legs.

This must be maintained for 3 consecutive months in order for you to qualify for this bonus.

You must also maintain the minimum amount of qualifications listed in order to keep your car bonus commission.

Partner Bonus Commissions

These are extra monthly bonus commissions that you can earn and are paid to you when you qualify with certain requirements you achieve in the compensation plan that the company has in place.

To qualify you must have 1 unilevel leg or team that generates at least 10,000 a month and 2,500 GV remains after a commission run, you will earn an extra $1,000 that is paid out each month as long as you meet that criteria.

Senior Partner Bonus Commissions

These are also extra monthly commissions that are similar to the Partner Bonus Commission that you can earn with a slightly harder qualification.

To earn the Senior Partner Bonus commissions you will need to generate at least 10,000 GV in 1 unilevel leg or team and that generates at least 5000 GV remains after a commissions run, you will earn an extra $1250 that is paid out each month as long as you meet that criteria.

That is all there is to the compensation plan that Bonvera offers, let’s move on to the next section.

In this section of the review, we are going to answer some of the questions that people may have when thinking about joining the Bonvera opportunity.

Is Bonvera Accredited With The BBB?

No, the Bonvera company is not accredited with the Better Business Bureau at this time.

Not having accreditation with the BBB does not make a company a scam.

Bonvera simply is not listed or accredited on the BBB at this time and may never be.

I usually only refer to the BBB for additional company information and to compare the reviews and testimonials with my other resources when the BBB offers it.

What’s The Cost To Join Bonvera?

The minimum cost to join Bonvera as an affiliate member will be $99.95.

This purchase will include product promotion material only.

Bonvera also offers 2 other packages that include products.

The next section will reveal what many of you are here to learn today which is…

Is Bonvera A Scam or Legit Opportunity?

Is Bonvera A Scam or Legit Opportunity

In our opinion, no, Bonvera is not a scam, and here are a few of our reasons why:

  • Bonvera offers retail products
  • A fair compensation plan
  • A good owner that is transparent
  • Great products with retail sales incentives.

Overall, I do see a legitimate MLM opportunity that offers an overall legitimate business plan that is in compliance with the FTC MLM requirements.

One of the bigger aspects that I see many MLM companies lack is the part of the retail sales.

This company offers many incentives for retail sales which is a very positive thing for compliance with the law.

  1. Thanks for the great review!
Your description of the legs in the compensation plan is not entirely correct.
The model used is “Team Approach” which cannot be categorized as unilevel or any other plans in the MLM industry.
Level 1 consists of ALL members placed on that level, either by you, your upline and your downline. Level 2 has no relationship to level one and is built by you and the personal enrollees’ places in that team by you. Thus you may end up with significant team depth and income having only “sponsored” 3 or 4 personals. Obviously, this is the ideal scenario and the more effort you put into adding personally enrolled associates the faster your financial goals will be attained.

    • Thanks for your contribution, Joe. To answer your questions… 1. Yes, I’ve invested thousands on programs and education. 2. I was able to create multiple 6 figure incomes with the training I learned in a few different companies and programs related and not related to MLM. 3. When I had the mindset of thinking that any one company will give me the ability to earn long-term wealth or teach me the skills needed in order to become successful, I failed, so when I invested more into education and then applied that education is when the real results I was looking for started manifesting. I hope that answered all of your; “inquiring mind” questions, Joe.
