I wanted to take you on the inside of this email autoresponder and give you my perspective of this treat of an autoresponder and cover many of the features of the program.

What Does Aweber Do – How Does Aweber Work?
This is a 2 part question that I will go into here.
Aweber is basically a service to help individuals and businesses, small and large to communicate effectively with their clients, potential customers, and people that are simply interested in content that the business or individuals provide.
Aweber provides various ways to capture subscribers by providing a code snippet that you can place into your website, client sites, and affiliate sites that use designs that are called an opt-in form.
When someone enters their information like their name and of course their email address that enters that person (subscriber) into a list within your Aweber contact manager.
When that person or subscriber is on your “list”, you now have the ability to send an email to them anytime you feel the need to do so.
As your list grows, you will have the ability to create just 1 message to send to all the subscribers on that list or lists at once regardless of how many subscribers are on that list.
You will also have a powerful feature that will allow you to send out pre-written emails and “schedule” them to be sent out in intervals of your choosing like 1 or 2 days after the last message, you have total control in this aspect, even the time of day that you want to send them out.
Aweber also has recently added a feature that will allow you to segment your list that allows you to only send messages to those that took certain actions like, only send a message to subscribers to those that have not opened and read your last email. (I’m still testing this one out)
This feature alone is what separates the free email clients like Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, and others from premium email services like Aweber.
Essentially this is what Aweber does and how it works in a nutshell.

Aweber is one of the best and one of the first autoresponders with time-tested proven results over the years.
It has been one of the top 3 favorites for some of the biggest online marketers since Aweber’s inception.

You can use AWeber to manage contacts in a flexible and effective way, create successful and visually attractive campaigns, and create personalized subscriber lists.
On the list, you can add 10 contacts per opt-in form, inserting their records full of contact and behavior information.
Nevertheless, AWeber will do more than simply categorizing contacts – it will provide you an insight on where customers are coming from and whether they’ve bought a product or subscribed for service.
Thanks to such a historical overview, the user can make smarter and more informed business decisions.

Importing An Existing Email List Into AWeber
Importing an existing email database into Aweber is not that difficult and is actually possible with its updates it had a few years ago.
Before a few years ago this was not an option but I am actually glad it is now.
You can upload the following file types:
- XLS
- XLSX
- TSV
- CSV
- TXT
You can still add single subscribers and also can copy and paste rows of subscribers as well.
As you import your data, you are given the option to add your subscribers to a particular set of autoresponders and tag them.
For anti-spam reasons, you are going to answer some security questions about how you collected the email subscribers you are importing.
I am all for this great feature that wasn’t possible when I first started with Aweber and am very pleased, huge plus in my book.

I have been a loyal customer of Aweber for many years now and been through many changes that they have gone through.
I have been very pleased with the direction and evolution to where it is now and will continue to be a customer with them.
